with OPT we were charged 25% of the declared value, if its door to door delivery via fed-ex the people from fed-ex will notify you how much you need to pay for them to release the items, this is the hassle free way but more expensive, if its not door to door delivery though it goes through the post office and here you could try to haggle the prices down especially if you know the local mailman and ask him to bargain for you instead.

When do you guys/gals use masking tape? Which parts do you tape off?

When applying paste wax, how many applicator pads do you use up? I have 1 3 inch pad and i don't know if its enough.

When buffing off the wax, how many Ultra Plush pieces do you use up?

i apply masking tape every time i polish or use a machine polisher, i tape off everything thats not painted on the margin between them

one applicator pad should be enough just use a clean nylon brush to remove dusts and other contaminants off the applicator pad after every panel and you're good to go and as JM have said i guess it depends on the number of products you are using, 1 pad for each product

i use 2 pcs of ultra plush on medium sized cars to SUV's, as with toyota LC's and Ford Expeds i use 3

ennzo, with your chosen route, after step 2, go directly to 915, do not pass GO, do not collect 200. then wait 8 hours for the wax to cure before topping something else. but then dust settles at that point. i dust them with my plush MF ;) . OCDs cry "noooooo.."

don't forget to do everything on a small test area. that way you'll know if it works and it'll push you happily til you finish the whole car or.. stop you in your tracks altogether, period

ginnova, you'll need a spray bottle for the IPA. in wiping off anything, the idea is to not cause new blemishes. always wipe with the clean fold of the MF towel. OCDs

this wiping-off business, you'll learn what can work for each case as you go along.

ito po ang gagawin ko sana basi sa nabasa ko dito. sinse i use nanoglos na.

1. nanoglos -then buff and wait at least 4hrs.pag may dust, i'll dust them with plush MF
(no liquid na gamitin na to?)
2. 915 - then buff and wait at least 4hrs.
3. nanosliq or OGE.

when i use a dry plush MF to dust, it's for very, very minimal, micro dust. i pick out larger grains. i only flap the edge of a fold on the panel. it has certain risks that are acceptable to me vs rinsing with water and drying, or using a leaf blower.

915, 8 hours is better.

Yung 6 to 7 weeks kasama na dun yung shipping from Autogeek sa Florida papuntang California. Overall waiting time ko yan from the moment mabili ko yung product hanggang dumating sa bahay namin via alas cargo.
