    DP Poli-coat
Sort of like KSG but a little less durable, good thing is because its cheap with their promo right now, but with this sealant you also need a cleaner sealant for it to bond properly

    WGDGPS
One of our current favorites especially if polycharged, it looks really wet and warm, as for durability, polycharged version is as good as KSG

    Blackfire Wet Diamond Finish
One of the slickest sealants out there and also one of our favorites, this sealant so far gave us the most reflectivity

    Zaino
If my Bf's current favorite is WGDGPS, this is my current favorite, its very expensive though, about twice the price of most sealants but is definitely easier to apply especially with ZFX, its durability is much like klasse but definitely looks better

All the other sealant above have to be ordered online, but if you know someone coming over, its well worth to have your bottle shipped, they're some of the best out there, Rejex and 4 star are also great products to order

but over all if its being economical and a proven and time tested sealant KSG takes the lead.

Madkatz, im just wondering bakit wala dito ang Opti Seal/Poli Seal, on which i have read na magaganda reviews, and some even said na better pa sya sa KSG/KAIO?

djoverdose you can just rinse with water then dry but it's up to you since soaping is easy. wait for the weekly wash schedule for the real wash and wax.

with water stains, the latter option doc. work longer (time) light strokes not heavy handed strokes ok. this is why we need machines especially for your big truck. buti hindi FISO yan.

lastly i didnt know i should wait 3-4 hours before applying top coat... why is that madkatz?

    thanks...
because you need to let the wax fully cure so it is dry enough so when you layer another coat of wax it sits on top of the previous one and this way you get the benefit of 2 applications, if you apply a wax and buff it off and apply again what you're doing is just moving around that first wax you putted on and you'll just be wasting product, not only that this also gives you an uneven surface since certain parts might have more of one wax than other parts so its best to fully cure it at a recommended 8 hours

Well we actually had about 4 bottles each sent over the last time we ordered from them, actually it was 8 bottles each but since you know how customs people here do magic, one of our boxes miraculously disappeared! so im left with 4 each, and when it get here it sold out immediately since people have already reserved for it before hand, we didn't order yet because we're still waiting for the feedbacks of the detailers that bought them from us and yes so far its very VERY promising, they love Opti-seals 8 hours curetime, 1/3 cure time of KSG, although Opti-seal doesn't bead as much as KSG, it sheets water better and it does stay longer than most sealant, so far we could say its about the same durability as KSG, we also had some bird dropping left on and it didn't etch into the paint so i guess the protection it offers is also great, as for Poli-seal those who also bought it loves the fact that its a wax they can buff using a machine to remove very light scratches and water marks so its like a finishing polish and sealant in one. We're still trying to liquidate some of our items so we could have enough funds to order from Optimum again, their per order quota is just too high and to be honest im sort of in a financial pinch because of the business practicum required by our school

as for the pricing, we really try to bring it down as much as possible, if you actually check its basically like the SRP you see on OPT's website plus 350 or 500 pesos shipping, the discount we get from OPT is actually cancelled out by the taxes from customs, and that 350 to 500 pesos charge is what we have left to cover shipping, loses and what negligible amount left to us is what we earn, so yeah the prices we give out are not bad already its just a little more compared to buying them from the US, i mean just imagine if you buy Poli-seal its 25$, thats about 1250 pesos, we're only selling it for about 1.6k, if you have the Opti-seal shipped to your friends place in the US its about 5 to 10$ so it boils down to pretty much 1.6k as well

my place is at Rosarito but we close quite early since we have to go to class, once we fully get the place operation i'll announce it here on tsikot and i hope to see you guys there!

Not QD and not Rubbing compound either, first try a polish like SwirlX if its very light and ScratchX if its moderate and yeah elbow grease but it shouldn't take that much, if you want we have a non abrasive cleaner wax here that you could use, bad thing though is that its not yet for sale but we probably have enough left to cover you

Hmmm are you going to go all out?

Migliore is good, a little expensive but my small 9oz tub lasted my more than 40 application so it justifies the price

AG HD is also good, its cheaper in the UK compared to the US since AG is based there, i think you could get it at around 4k pesos there, UK is also where i got some of my AH HD waxes and yeah its around 4k pesos, but here its a lot more expensive around 1 to 2k more.

Victoria Concourse is also good about the same as Migliore

Swissvax is a good wax brand its very expensive if you get the popular ones but they also have cheap waxes for sale at about less than 80 pounds, these are also good waxes any of their cheaper waxes can easily compete with most waxes

Just a note though, if she'll be hand carrying it then its good, but if she's bringing via box and also going to go thru customs then don't even think about it, i used to sell swissvax here since my aunt also comes over twice a year from the UK but there was one time she brought it thru customs and some went missing, i had a balikbayan box full of those and the box again Miraculously disappeared! so i had a really really big loss with that i guess im just unlucky with swissvax hehehe

Is it made in Korea? I've been trying to get my hands on some of their products for personnal use but i can't seem to find a website that sells them, i've only been able to try them thru our mentor, but so far if its just for weather protection there are better sealants out there, actually Opti-seal even does a slightly better job, we personally tested it and you could also see some reviews on youtube, but what we liked about Aquartz is their scratch resistant coating, it does at some level provide scratch resistancece and it would be great for maintaining your finish, happen to know where i could my hands on some?

Just an update on my wax.

    *madkatz
Ma'am aside from the durability of Optimum Opti-Seal being a little short compared to KSG, ano pa po differences nila?

Hehe.

Makapunta nga kapag fully operational na.

    Sorry OT

    Madkatz,

I see..... hmmm.... OC mode again..... looks like i have to redo my pick up..... Does this applies to the sealer also?

because right now i just finished applying/buffing our City with swirl X then i applied mothers sealer&glaze... do i have to wait for 8 hours or should 1 hour will do before i apply the wax....

guess i have a bad habit of using this stuffs... what i usually do is after the sealer hazed, i wipe it off, then apply the wax, same thing, once hazed wipe off..... then so on with the topcoat then finish it with spray wax....

so if im not mistaken the proper way is to wait for a certain period of time before each application?

wala kasi naka lagay sa label eh... kainis... hehehe....

will post some pics of our honda city later this evening.

Tama po yang ginagawa nyo na wait for a certain period before buffing off. Pero not too long po as it will cause it to become dry and hard to buff off.

Just do the "finger swipe" test. Apply your wax, then swipe nyo lang po finger nyo sa applied area and if it comes off and it's dry, you can buff it off. Kapag medyo basa pa or may naiwang wax, wait a little longer.

    HTH
