Just an update on using Formula 1 Premium Paste Wax. I used it on the quarter panel glass and I could buff it clear with no problems. I'm gonna wait and see how much dust it will attract before I use it to seal the windshield.

Yes sir, I think meron si Ginnova.

I got mine from Autogeek, kahit mahulog ay good parin. This is good for light claying. But if you need to remove more stubborn paint contaminants, a traditional clay bar will serve you better.

Tried Chemical Guys 5050 at The Detail Studio in Ortigas, and am very happy with the results.

Here are some pics of the different stages of the detailing process. Best to zoom in the pics to see the details (lots of dead bugs on my hood!)

    Before car wash:

After car wash (notice that the insect stains are still there):

    After paint correction and waxing:

I was beginning to think that regular washing is enough to maintain your car, but comparing them side by side (waxed and not waxed) reveals a noticeable improvement.

    Before and after:

I was curious if the money I'm spending to get my car waxed was worth it, so I took pictures to be able to compare objectively. I subject my car to thousands of kilometers of driving every month under high heat and raging rain, frequently on highways where stones and insects find their way on my hood, so my paint really takes a beating.

I was surprised when I saw the results. My black car just became blacker, with all the minor blemishes erased. I'm very happy with the Meguiar's Paint Reconditioning Cream and Chemical Guys 5050 Wax that they used.

    Before and after:

Super clean, sir!! If you dont mind me asking, how much for the service you availed? Do i have to setup an appointment prior to wash/wax? Thanks!

I've always commented on TDS, and as I've always said, sulit, worthy to share with fellow enthusiasts. Impeccable work and ethic, and when you compare their pricing vs. others, halos pareho lang, but when you consider the things they use- orbitals, chemicals, pads, etc. sobrang mura for what you get, and they will advise you to step it down when you ask for something that is not needed (like full correction). All brand name and popular items, I used to be a detailing enthusiast as well and saw their collection when I inquired. Yung trainer nila had a collection of (i guess) more than a hundred waxes, I think more, some of which I haven't even heard of. Meron daw silang kinukuhanan for waxes such as Blackfire, Pinnacle, etc. they gave me the number, just pm if needed :D

Their paint correction (2,500) is really show car finish. Their enhancement work (1,200) which I always avail, is better than most, if not all, full exterior details offered by other shops. I availed of Pinnacle Souveran and Wolfgang Fuzion the last time I went, they have almost all the waxes, sealants, BUT you have to book an appointment with them for special items. Climate controlled daw yung ibang gamit :D Downside is mainit talaga sa waiting area during noon.

If it's just a wash, no need for an appointment. But if you'll have the car detailed, it's better to set an appointment to be sure. They can only detail 2 cars at a time so going without an appointment is quite a gamble.

I paid 1.2k for the detailing. Usually it's just Collinite 845 and Meg's PRC but they were nice enough to give me a bonus for all the customers I referred to them so I got CG 5050 and Meg's as a free upgrade.

They don't sell, they just offer it to customers. They order from the states and they don't seem to have large quantities on stock.
