March 2nd, 2011 01:16 PM #211Thanks Arjay.
With the mom's cleaner carnauba wax then 476, visible pa din yung hairline scratches/swirlmarks, though via the aid of a flourescent or when viewed at a certain angle. Anything I can use in between or even replace from the 2 waxes to have these swirlmarks remove/hide? Apply by hand nga pala but I used KP600 to apply 476.

To hide the swirl marks try using nanoglos then follow up with 476 after 4 hours. Or try SwirlX then KAIO/KSG. Yung latter yung ginagawa ko every two-months. Yung former ginagawa ko every 2 weeks but 915 gamit ko instead of 476. Black kasi yung sasakayan ko kaya mahirap maeliminate talaga ang imperfections totally.

March 2nd, 2011 03:04 PM #213Sir Louie, ok na kaya yung 4 hours drying time? I think with the weather lately better stretch it to 8 hours so as to make sure dry na yung nanoglos. Ngyari na kasi saakin na hindi pa tuyo yung nanoglos pinatungan ko agad ng 476s after 4 hours, ayun bale wala yung filling effects ng nanoglos.
swirlX every 2 months? safe kaya yun? baka naman in 2-3 years time wala na clearcoat niyo sir.

The longer the curing time the better I think. Siguro nga since it's rainy and medyo malamig dapat longer.

March 2nd, 2011 04:04 PM #215Sorry for the novice question. When will you notice you've remove swirlmarks (though not totally)? After applying nanoglos or after topping it with 476?
Cause what I did sa trunk lang nung car, apply mom's cleaner carnauba wax (this kind of expose even the thinnest of the thin swirlmarks), apply nanoglos (didn't notice any difference on hiding/removing the swirlmarks) then 476 (same thing, no difference).
Or something wrong in my application of nanoglos?

March 2nd, 2011 08:11 PM #217No worries sir, keep the questions coming.
Should be after 476s. You can only fill very light swirls with nanoglos sir, nothing substantial really. If you really want to remove those deeper swirls try swirlX though be very careful as not to remove too much clearcoat.
mom's cleaner wax has micro abrasives that well, cleans the pain thus exposing all the imperfections. did you apply nanoglos then top with 476s right away sir?

March 2nd, 2011 09:48 PM #218Yes, I applied 476 just minutes after I applied nanoglos. I thought wala naman effect yung nanoglos since I'm still seeing the swirlmarks after applying it.
Since I'm applying by hand, do you think I need to put added pressure when applying nanoglos? Di pa ako nakakabili ng LC pads and modify my KP600.
And another question, since my car now have 476, can I put nanoglos on top of it then 476 again or need to re-do everything again?
