hirap pakintabin ng white compared to dark colors na wet look, pero hirap din i-maintain na hindi sya mag-mantsa... for me:

    1) clay every 3-4 months (depende sa surface condition), followed by a pre-wax cleaner
    2) Mothers FX synwax (paste) followed by OCW every month
    3) Mothers FX spray wax every week after car wash
    4) Mothers Showtime every other day or as the case maybe...

if your paint is in good condition, use an AIO or 1-step product like a cleaner wax or FX synwax with mild cleaners instead of using a 3-step or 2-step to save time and effort as you cannot get the wet look in white but only to keep it clean and shiny... HTH.

mothers or meguiars has cleaner wax, which are carnauba-based, iba pa yung pre-wax cleaner...
i suggest you try FX synwax, it's synthetic polymer and you will love the effect on your white car...

+1 here. Ang ganda ng effect ng Synwax sa light colored cars.

Hi guys good day to all of you. I just want to ask something about exterior detailing, i read several tips from magazines and various websites already which pertains to exterior detailing..

But sad to say i really need your help i want to hear honest opinions from kapwa filipinos who are into exterior detailing.

i want to ask more about claying, polishing. Because in the past what i do is, after car wash i go directly to wax and buffing, is this a wring thing to do? am i doing more harm than good to my car's paint?

hope to hear from you guys soon.

    thanks and more power!

you should at least clay before waxing. you're doing less harm than just leaving the paint without wax. marring/swirls, maybe, but you minimized water etching which runs deeper into the clearcoat.

Stock ka ng maraming Bug and Tar Remover or Kerosene. Sobrang prone sa ashphalt stains yung white kahit parati kang may wax or sealant. Clay every 2 months. Avoid Mothers in my experience di tumatagal yung waxes at sealant nila. Invest ka na lang sa Klasse Twins (AIO & HGSG) and Optimum Car wax. For quick detailer use Optimum No Rinse since yung 32oz na ONR makaka gawa ng 4 gallons of quick detailer kesa bibili ka nung pre mixed na quick detailers.

+1 ako dito ...the best ang Optimum Products... so far i've tried OID,ONR and OCW... with regards to sealant eh pwede rin ang carlack twins since parehas lang sila ng klasse twins..

Then Monthly yung HGSG. Yung OCW kahit every other car wash.

Eto yung dati kong pics ko last January 2010 using Mothers FX Synwax + Mothers Step 3 Liquid Wax + Reflections Topt Coat. Very shiny pero after a few washes tanggal na

Eto naman Last July 2010 Klasse Twins lang. Hindi kasing deep ng mothers yung shine pero long lasting compared sa mothers.

Have you tried the Mother's FX spray wax on top of the Klasse twins? I think it doesn't have any cleaners (could be wrong here though), and I was wondering if it would impart the same shine and gloss as the Synwax, while still maintaining the protection of the sealant.
