madali lang mag apply ng sealant by hand then remove by hand din. i use carlack twins. just remember to follow the curing time ng sealant na gagamitin mo bago mo i-buff off. what i like about the carlack sealant is that 1 hour lang ang curing then buff it off...

sir carlack "twins" meaning 2 types? both are sealants and should go together? then after that dun palang mag aapply ng 476 then a wax booster like OCW/sliq?

may nababasa pa ako na cleaners para maganda daw ang kapit ng wax, anong product naman yun? is that another step again prior to the application of sealants then wax and so forth??... uuugghhh..

klasse twins has 2 components KAIO and KSG, KAIO is a cleaner sealant already that can be used as a pre-wax cleaner, pre-wax cleaners is what you would be referring to as the product that allows maximum bond with the paint so if you get klasse twins you already don't need a pre-wax cleaner

I see, ok so basically its

    1. claying
    2. KAIO
    3. 476s
    4. OCW (and also for maintenance in between washes)

    tama po ba?

...maam, sorry but san dun kasama yung KSG?... also, is "carlack" and "klasse" the same? I'm assume it is coz you referred to it as such... just making sure tho.. Thanks again!

yung carlack twins e 2 product yun:
    - all in one cleaner
    - sealant

as per bigberts e iisa ang manufacturer ng klasse at carlack so labeling lang ang pinag iba.

mas maganda yung combination na yan then saka ka mag apply ng pure wax (i.e. collonite, etc)

just to not confuse anyone, klasse has a 1 hour dry time and 24 hours cure time

actually of the best tips i could give to make applying and removing sealants a lot easier would be to apply as little as possible

let's just call the time a product has hazed and dried and ready to be buffed-off as drying time. LLS - 1 hour drying time, 24 hours curing time.

dandy, with waxes, use the finger swipe test to see if it's dry and ready to be buffed-off.

just in case.. finger swipe test (0.19 seconds in Google). faster than a reply post.

smear don't slather. if you wipe it on and the paint looks wet, however little you think you've used, you're doing it right. if you can make it even less, good for you.

    my bad...

i was actually referring to drying time na 1 hr sa carlack sealant. pero ang aio ng carlack e alang drying time -- meaning pagka apply mo e balik ka na don sa unang panel na inaaplyan mo then buff off.

tama si mam madkatz -- dapat super nipis lang ng application for both products. never pa naman ako nahirapan i-buff off yung sealant considering by hand lang ang buff off ko.

oo nga pala...and it's just me...ang application ko ng aio at sealang e pahaba not pabilog...i.e. kung sa side panel e from top to bottom ang apply ko pababa..not typical na pabilog parang for me e mas madali ang application...but then it's just me...and i'm not saying na mali ang paikot na application...

mga boss help naman, i think i damaged my paint due to continuous rubbing ng clay. kasi may parang mga small dots or talsik ng paint na nakadikit sa paint ko kaya ang ginawa ko, ni-rub ko yung clay dun sa mga parts na yun hanggang sa matanggal yung mantsa na yun. mas maganda pa siguro kung ginamitan ko nalang ng kuko para matanggal. so there, i guess i marred the paint by rubbing the clay too much and with pressure. para siyang scratches na kita pag naarawan at an angle. or parang oxidation ang itsura. ano po kaya pwede ko gamitin para dun? pwede na kaya cleaner wax? swirlx? or a more aggressive product? first time ko kasi magclay eh kaya d ko alam na pwede palang makadamage ng ganon.

swirlx. you lube the clay and glide it. if you're squeezing it beneath your palm, you're pressing too hard.

just got my 476 from autobisyo today, instantly palit agad ako ng damit (yung pambahay na walang mga buttons at zipper) at diretcho hugas ng auto... (di masyado excited ) ...after washing and drying, ready na mag apply ng 476, medyo naintimidate ako kasi puro liquid wax lang ginagamit ko and years ago last time gumamit ng paste at sobrang parusa inabot ko.. hirap pala maalis nun.. kasi halos ginawa kong masilya yung wax sa kapal.. now with the 476 I made sure na di na maulit yun so dinahan dahan ko pag apply parang naglalagay ng makeup... (no experience sa actual makeup ha.. na imagine lang) ..the process went smoothly naman medyo tricky lang kasi yung kotse is white, so kailangan ko pang sipatin in different angles to make sure na napahiran na...

..ang tanong, what's more common scenario sa newbies applying paste waxes, yung masyadong makapal or masyadong manipis?... honestly di ko alam kung masyadong manipis yung lagay ko kasi hindi talaga ako nahirapan mag buff off unlike sa previous experience ko using paste wax.. after mag haze for a few minutes buff ko agad using microtex plush, one for each hand . no problems whatsoever. ganun ba talaga ang 476?
