Hello, i don't know how much or if Ed will be able to accept jobs during that time since he took a 3 day leave last week to detail an entry on Manila Auto Saloon, he finished a little early and decided to do another job as a favor to his best friends aunt as a last minute thing, another reason he took the job and opted for that car was for the polishing session last sunday, he picked that car for the wide panels so there are more panels he could teach people with

He did however mention that he's planning on doing some project cars this mid to late December so you might want to ask him about that, just pm me for his number but again even i am sure that he's still not sure if he could accept other jobs

Actually FX synwax especially the paste version isn't quite that bad at all already, but of course KSG lasts longer but FX paste is actually one of the longest lasting OTC paste waxes out there so yeah it would be a good idea to use it all up, its a nice product in terms of use

SN 00001 goes to Max (Owner of PBMA), 00002 goes to Mike Phillips, 00003 will be given to Pres. Obama, 00004 to the VP, 00005 to NASA, the rest is for everybody else.
Wow! i was also itching on ordering this light weight champ, coming from using a BnD rotary polishing i had to buy a Makita 9227c just because it was lighter and spent around 11k for that too bad this baby didn't come out till lately or else i would have ordered one and shipped it along with our box in transit

I am also confused because the new polisher weights 5.5 pounds and the other buffer i have FLEX L3403 VRG Lightweight Circular Polisher is only 5 pounds which i assume is lighter, and this one also packs more punch since it goes up to 3.7k rpm at about half the price, so im still thinking if its really worth buying the new Flex, and also upon checking they both look pretty much the same i guess the main difference would be the air vents with the new one and the old traditional handle in the old one

Its the Ace sprayer bottle that has a hole for pressure release, it actually becomes a PITA once you fill it up to that point it touches the pressure release hole or once you tilt the sprayer and it touches the pressure release hole since it will leak out the contents

Wow you also took the plunge for a foam cannon, what pressure washer are you using with your foam cannon? and what fitting did you use? any needed modification?

I had to order another foam cannon since our first one sort of broke down, i guess i was using the wrong pressure washer for the job, we fitted the foam cannon with a 1/4 thread adapter to be able to connect to standard belt type pressure washer and after using it with my BF's pressure washer and working quite well we connected it to my pressure washer not knowing mine was a lot stronger, upon using we heard a plastic sound that cracked and took the cannon apart but upon closer inspection everything seems fine, we followed the cleaning guide and disassembly guide by someone from Detailworld and didn't find anything wrong but since then its no longer working properly, we took every effort to consider that even my belt type pressure washer would not produce that much PSI but failed to consider the GPM count so i guess its a mistake well learned, we're thinking of getting another foam cannon but also thinking of getting a pressure washer for myself something maybe just for the foam cannon or something portable, been looking at karcher and other US brands but im concerned about the 110v requirement and is more inclined towards buying something here for warranty purposes as well, any suggestions?

BTW, with our first foam cannon we used Megs Hyperwash and DG shampoo to get really thick foam

Yup they were too deep we decided to not remove them since we believe it won't be that necessary since its not a show car, we used Hyper Compound 2 passes, Hyper Polish 2 passes and Optimum Finish and got that result, we did another panel with 105/205 2 passes both and also had the same results, and since we were told to just remove what was necessary we did just that.

The chrome on the door guards were polished afterwards with Mothers Chrome polish by hand with a MF towel and then waxed with Collinite 950

We got into that situation because my BF wasn't expecting the car to be expected the next day, we thought we had 2 whole days to finish the job but later sunday learned its expected the next day by around 8, we thought 8am so we did it overnight and then learned it was 8pm hehe, i could have sworn we heard it was 8am not 8pm otherwise we would have taken our time to also do the engine and slap another layer of sealant

hahaha, really quick wit right there! or... i fear for your BF, you thought of the ways he can dodge the penalty pre commission of a crime.

for the face, kompressor pads reaches the deeper curves, else your nose will get the brunt of it all.

And after watching a video of it, application is a PITA vs the foam cannon.

i got two. maybe i'll sell the other one later. at 5T? i left the bottles for a smaller package. i use the portable bnd. 1400W

i got kew/alto fittings but the thread is for a screw type lance which is a pain because it is 1/2" with bigger threads vs. the standard 1/2" NPT. i had to thin the tapered end of bayonet according to the bnd bayonet by 1mm diameter and tap the inside of the other end with 1/4" NPT so i can screw in a 1/4" nipple plus Teflon tape.

the ordinary spray bottles and 1.5L softdrink bottles fit. the hose for the bottle is a thick transparent one. this one you cannot change at whim because the grooved connector cuts and hooks into the rubber. the hose curves inside a shorter bottle so no issue there.

I had to order another foam cannon since our first one sort of broke down..

the foam cannon has a very high pressure rating around 150 bar ~ 2000+ psi so i don't think it's the cannon, but i would guess a foreign part came into the all-brass body internals. can all the passages be checked? what about having it warrantied? what's the link to the dismantling procedure?

BTW, with our first foam cannon we used Megs Hyperwash and DG shampoo to get really thick foam
i want a clingy foam. tornador can make mousse.

excuse moi, i'll get back to this and to you guys later, social duties acalling..

Hi Madkatz. I just noticed the airflow directions of the PE14, the exhaust air blows towards the area that you will be working on. I'm wondering if it will affect the product's working time since it's like your blowing hot air to the surface that you are working on?

Masters and gurus, so I just finished my detailing yesterday from wash to clay to polish to sealing. BUT I made the mistake of doing WOWO with the sealant when the instructions on the Internet said to wait for at least 30-45 minutes. So I'm assuming that there is very little, if any, sealant on the car. So, I want to re-apply the sealant.

BUT, unfortunately, it rained kanina I got home, hosed it down with water, then I did an ONR wipe down. What should I do now?

Is it safe to just go ahead with the sealing? Or should I do some kind of prepping? Mag Mom's step 1 pa ba ako?

i think PSI is all there is to it. the pressure washer may not be rated correctly or it spikes over its max rated PSI. To monitor it, somehow fit a pressure gauge at the high pressure outlet.

another concern is foreign objects. a screen at the tap inlet or a filter at the tap or both will help. you see, the inlet of the foam cannon is ~1mm, i can only imagine the internals, but bits of soil, rock, rusted pipe, etc. gunned through high pressure might do some damage or cause a malfunction to this substantial investment.

baka watermarks lang yan. post ka ng photos

pag water marks yan, try claying first, if this won't do the trick, use a mild polish.
