I tried just an ordinary vinegar and it worked fine with me. It removed water stains off my windshield to my amazement. 1:1 vinegar to water is my mix.

I'm absolutely sure that distilled vinegar will work wonders but try first with what you have on a discreet part of your car and assess if you like the result.

    Just my opinion

yup its not bad, its a little more expensive than the wp1300 but its a lot lighter, its still heavier than the makita though but its sort of a perfect rip off, downside is that if you're a weekend detailer then you might not be able to use this that much and you're better off with the wp1300 if you're not gonna use it frequently, also price is also a little steep compared to its other competitors and its warranty is only stuck at 3 months

for the majority of the roof parts you could use the cleaner wax with the PC either with the orange or white pad and for the other parts and the groves since its not flat you could do it by hand but all of which are pain fully back breaking

Right choice din ba na collinite for habanero red? May kilala ako sa black car nya klasse sg.
claying can also help but it would really deteriorate your clay pretty fast, there are also other items that are really meant for asphalt removal like the turtle wax bug and tar remover, its in an aerosol can that you just spray the area and let it dwell for like a few minutes and wipe off with an MF cloth this would be the best advice i could give you, its available in True Value stores

that could help lessen the friction between the paint and the cloth and it might add gloss, some people in the US do this but i prefer to dry it separately and use OID after separately

kasi with OID i applied it kasi kagabi and natuwa nga ako sa gloss nya kaya lang this

hmmm so far we use OID at a stronger dilution sometimes even up to 50% more concentrated especially on shows and no streaking whatsoever, technique is just mist a little not too much and then wipe is ASAP, if you apply too much you would get streaking or as what indiej might have said you might be using it too concentrated

    Hello Everyone!

Stoner's Invisible Glass is now available at True Value Outlets

for those who don't have time or doesn't have Glass Science Rain Clear on their windshield, this would be a great recommendation it gives very light beading for glass surfaces

however for those using Glass Science i would recommend using the Glass Science Spray product since it goes quite well with the Rain Clear Gel

just follow the correct dilutions. OID streaking is attributed to heat, dilution, over-dampening.

try 1:4 OID-distilled water: your fold of MF should just be damp instead of almost soaked when you're done. the good thing is that you won't deplete your OID as fast. btw, check your bottle cos the smaller ones of OID are not labeled 'concentrated'.

that will work. use it on distilled water instead . just kidding. at around 1:50 or 250ml (i may have written 25ml before) per washing machine load, vinegar on water won't be smelly. your folks can also use it for adobo. label that as such when you find distilled vinegar, which you will relabel 'acetic acid - poisonous' ;).

find distilled vinegar at the imported food section of puregold, robinson's, maybe SM, etc.

I just got an email notification that AG is giving out 20% discount on purchases above $95. The catch is, this is only valid on Nov. 4 and 5 (last days of SEMA). For those interested, the coupon code is SEMA20 * the checkout.

I agree on this! Stoner is way better than Rain X. Glass Science is better than Stoner. Aquapel is better than Glass Science.

    Salamat sa advice.

Regarding collonite pwede ba aio gawin ko cleaner wax tapos 417 ang isusunod ko?

Yung bug ang tar remover safe naman yun? Kasi most car wash and gas station puntahan ko puro gaas advice. Ok ba gaas or paranoid lang ako.

Yung stoners meron ba sila treatment for water spots or purely rain repellant lang?

good suggestion, most people i notice when using QD usually end up using a lot of it, QD's are usually just meant to be misted that why we also look for very good spray bottles to do the job properly a short fine mist should do the job well, on a hood only 3 sprays of fine mist will already cover a camry's whole hood

Two thumbs up on this, if only aquapel was a lot less expensive hehe, one aquapel treatment could nearly get you one whole squeeze bottle of Rain Clear Gel for the price, so i just end up using Rain Clear more often but on those times i've tried Aquapel it lasted me more than half a year on a daily drive and over a year on our garage queen

yes you could use AIO followed by 476 if thats what you meant

the bug and tar remover is safe for paint just as long as you wash you car properly first before applying it

as with using kerosene its pretty safe if you ask me, just don't let it tell for like 30 minutes or so and just as long as you're carefull with rubber, otherwise on painted parts its very safe

its a cleaner and repellent, its meant to remove films and other gunky sticky contaminants on the paint and add a very light rain repellent, but sadly its not made for removing water spots, waterspots are usually mineral deposits etched into the paint, if you have those you might want to try using pure distilled vinegar on a small hand cotton towel and put some on the windshield and try to rub if off, if its still there you might need to use a more concentrated acid to remove them, and lastly in severe cases you might need to even use a ultra fine polish to remove them of course all depending on the state and severity of the watermarks, i suggest you try to bring it over one time if you guys have an EB, Elevo Watermark remover is a favorite among forumers here its found in nearly all hardware stores, but as with me and my BF we prefer something stronger to easily do the job.
