i want to ask for some advice on what wax product and type should i use best for my innova. don't have much ideas regarding these detailing stuff.

hope someone can help and thanks in advance.
If you plan to invest in detailing.... then follow the post mentioned to use COllinite 915... the problem with collinite is that it is not Over the counter (OTC), you can buy one in the US or get it from sir jerome of autobisyo.com.

These product would gurantee quality protection and give your car the optimum shine possible...

However, if you plan to maintain in a mainstream way, first invest in good washing... get some microfiber wash mitts (microtex is awesome!) and a good drying MF cloth (microtex also has an MF towel specialized for drying, a bit expensive though). For shampoo, highly remonneded din a microtex shampoo, cheap and effecttive

Next... if you just plan to wax considering your budegt, then buy MOther's Step 3 carnauba (OTC - Blade store)... But if you want a full detailing regimen, then buy step 1, 2, 3 of Mother's... however, kung ma-aadict ka rin lang go for

Step 1 (or any cleaner waX)
Nano Glos (microtex) (to replace step 2)
Collinite product (915 for excellent shine, 476 or fleetwax for uber protection - to replace step 3)

These are ok for starters, then you can build your detailing kit from here.

Pwede but there's a higher chance na mag-inflict ka ng swirls while doing so. Dishwashing liquid removes wax kasi.

Don't use Tide or any other sabong panlaba and make sure to rinse the car properly before drying to avoid watermarks.

no need to worry, the black thing making your applicator black is probably road film or just dirt

better if you use car shampoo so that there will be less friction between the dirt and the car's paint

    guys,

i was convinced by other member ng SFCP na i big berts ko na lang and last saturday (kahapon) dinala ko don at ayun natanggal ang overspray for 1.2K optiguard 1 time application kasi may kasama na claying yung optiguard nila.

    - carlack 68 new paint - eto yung tulad ng SG

    - mothers reflection wax
    - mothers reflection top coat
    - mothers reflection quick detailer or QD

so eto yung dati kong weekly regimen:
    1. microtex shampoo - using microtex mitt
    2. microtex - microfiber for drying
    3. microtex nano glos - then buff with microtex plush
    4. meguiars carnauba wax - then buff with microtex plush
    5. microtex nanosliq - then buff with microtex plush

i try ko this week ito:
    - microtex shampoo with microtex mitt
    - dry using mb
    - aio ng carlack68
    - sg ng carlack68
    - microtex nano glos -
    - topcoat ng mothers

then mix and match uli ako next week ng iba
    - then nano sliq

then ganon uli next next week
    - mothers reflection wax
    - mothers reflection top coat...

para san ba talaga gamit ng QD if use on its own.

need advice on ano maganda kong mix and match na products...

i experienced the same but i DIYed it and it was so easy and fulfilling. but i missed a spot on one of the rims. now it won't come off with claying. no matter.

next time instead of mother's qd, get Mother's claying kit. you can then clay whenever you want to restart.

QDs are used to make final touches to your detailing job. it's for cleaning minor contaminants. use gently with MF to avoid scratches. it also brings back the shine to your LastStepProduct.

you're doing great on your own. you may try half and half of a panel to compare your products&processes.

Also may light cleaners yung Advanced car wax baka matanggal lang yung previous coat ng sealant so sayang yung previous effort.

    thanks bro. ano yung lls?

so ibig sabihin di ko na rin gamitin yung microtex nano, microtex nano sliq, at carnauba with carlack twins?

hmm if that is so then mag alternate ako weekly with microtex twins, then another week yung mothers twins naman. so lalabas 2 weeks alternate then back to carlack twins set naman...

Carlack Long Life Sealant. Yung Nano Systematic Care mga 2x a year lang yun since may Long Life sealant naman.

Kung open parking use your Carlack LLS pag nag wax ka just follow proper curing time since siya yung pinaka durable na product.

another alternative is to use collinite 476S. proven to outlast practically every over-the-counter wax. It's useful to keep the klasse sealant alive
