actually if you have your car detailed , washing everyday will be the best maintenance, with regard to waxing you will know you have to wax the car if its not smooth anymore..if will notice a newly waxed car will be very smooth.

    thanks..

Question to the detailing gurus out there... Out of curiousity, I tried using Meguiar's #66 Quick Detailer to remove stubborn dirt on my factory coated wheels. I tried it on a small inconspicuous spot first. It worked. I'm just wondering whether it's safe to continue using this. I know there are products out there specifically for wheel cleaning, but if I can use the same product for different purposes, why not?

Guys, need your opinion on this one..

what i did in my last session was wash -> spot clay -> SRP -> soft99 geki -> 3M Liquid wax result: medyo wet look. i applied it last saturday. ok pa naman until today.

previously kasi ganito: wash -> spot clay -> SRP -> moms Deep crystal carnauba, result: ok din, makintab, pero mas wetlook yung combo above. i don't know if it's bec of the 3M or the geki.
i really admire you guys in detailing, ang tiyatiyaga nyo!

kung gusto mo body-shop safe, a glaze (3M, Mom's...) would do nicely.. yun nga lang, durability sucks.

actually a wax won't be able to protect you from scratches..

Yes wax does NOT protect you from scratches. Wax is used to protect the shine. That's why on older cars, ang wax nilalagay AFTER polish.
