Di ko ma-edit last post ko. Anyways, found clay in True Value in ATC, kaya lang sobrang mahal, Moms e, 1195 price. No choice though but to buy, kahit na for 3 cars lang sya... question: la bang ibang brand na available dito sa Pinas na mas mura?

Not for 3 cars, you can re-use it as often as you can unless you've used it to pick up larger particles that can scratch your paint (like cement specs, etc...)

Cut it up into 3 pieces and knead... Just keep on kneading/folding until the clay surface is too smooth and not tacky...

Throw that off then use the other 2 pieces...

Matagal na rin akong lurker dito, dami ko na natutunan sa mga guru dito he he he. Tanong ko lang which is better in terms of durability and ease of removal mothers reflection top coat o mothers synwax?
Tama ba gawing maintenance wax ko mothers top coat (lsp ata ito e) tapos QD ko yung Eagle one? mura kasi at good review from the forum.

Hi Detailing Gurus, after availing the New Car Paint Protection program from BB, what are the maintenance steps that should i be following aside from car washing everyday? should i apply wax or polish or glaze? and what is the suggested frequency for this? Im really interested to detail my own car. based from what i learned from this thread... The following would consist my detail schedule:

Every 1 month or 2 weeks --> kindly suggest which is better.
    1. Car wash and dry
    2. clay with QD as lubricant --> or can i clay after rinsing the car from shampoo? which i think is what big berts is doing?
    3. paint cleaner--> is this still necessary if i already clayed the paint? or which is better, paint cleaner or clay?
    4. polish or glaze
    5. LSP - wax or polymer sealant

    Everyday maintenace:

    1. Car wash and dry.
    2. Apply cleaner wax or glaze? --> which is a better alternative for everyday maintenance?

    thanks in advance.

^^^ do not apply cleaner wax everyday, that will remove whatever sealant/wax you placed on your car paint and I dont know if its true that this will make your clearcoat thin
cleaner wax should be done every 1 month - 3 months
you should apply wax/sealant every 1 week or 1 month -3 mos depending on car use or 2-3 times a week if you have time (according to some forumers)
your step should be -I think this is also the same step as yours (done every 1 or 3 months)
    1. wash car with car shampoo
    2. clay
    3. wash again
    4. dry
    5. paint cleaner (step 1)
    6. polish wax (step 2)
    7. seal/wax (step 3)
    8. maintain QD or other similar products

on everyday maintenance be sure to use car shampoo to lubricate the surface and avoid swirls, if you can apply wax/sealant then do so but NOT cleaner wax
oh by the way read some important details on previous pages
.02 correct me if Im wrong

    -WashMitts and Shampoo

    -Microfiber for Drying

Glaco or Mothers? or any suggestion?

I just bought Moms FX Synwax, Moms Showtime QD and applicator foam at Hans yesterday... I also bought Chenille MF wash mitts at TV.

But now im not sure if i bought the right wax for my new car (btw, car is color RED)... I just had my PPP done at BB last week... and after reading that Synwax have mild cleaning capabilities (abrasives) , Should i continue on using this product even if I plan to put wax every other week? dba this would take of the sealant applied by BB? shocks... please help...

Another question, which is better, FX synwax or Moms Reflections for a red car? and what is the difference between the two?

I plan to maintain my car by washing it everyday using wash mitts and MF for drying...
Then apply Synwax at least every other week depending on the durability of the wax...
I'l be using the QD in between wash and waxing to make sure that the paint surface is clean before waxing...

Then have it resealed at BB every quarter..

Gurus, are my steps ok na?

Really sorry for asking too many questions...

And btw, i went to BB araneta yesterday to have a car wash and i would like to commend Paul of BB araneta for going the extra mile to fix minor scractches on the hood of my brand new car... i really can't tell where i got those scratches, Paul and his crew removeed it using rubbing compound and reapplied sealant on the affected area... all for free. The best talaga ang BB! Cheers!

As advised po ng BB dapat wax lang without cleaners ang gagamitin or else it will strip the sealant off your car. I think MOMs step 3 does not contain cleaners or you may want to look for soft99 Authentic line (available at www.vividautogarage.com). I have posted my results using the Authentic line kindly search for it though or you may visit my cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2910225/2 . I have a red car too heres a sample of the soft99 stuff on red.

No idea haven't used it on mine. I am inlove with Turtlewax Ultra Gloss Platinum at the moment. Not because it produces exceptional results, but because its so easy to use, its cheap and the results are acceptable to my standards (comparable to EO Nanowax and Nxt daw). See page three last image in my cardomain.

I plan to maintain my car by washing it everyday using wash mitts and MF for drying...

Hehe sipag ah. Ako once a week lang then Cali duster and QD in between washes. Depende sa dumi ng kotse.

Then apply Synwax at least every other week depending on the durability of the wax...

I'l be using the QD in between wash and waxing to make sure that the paint surface is clean before waxing...

    Thanks.

I got the Authentic Jr. (smaller can) mga 680 ata. Madali lang sya alisin by hand provided that you put it in thin.

I'm sure you will be tempted na gamitin din yan.

Hehe may parating pa akong tig 33 Oz. na Klasse Sealant Glaze and All-in-one.

    Masamang bisyo eto hehehe.

Try to read up yung mga booster waxes such as Wax-As-U-Dry ng Eagle One (Php 380+ sa Hans Shang).
