hey pipz im about to try 3M's ultra-gloss liquid wax. sachet lang muna binili ko 39 pesos to try.
is this any good para sa mga nakatry na? anung diff sa turtlewax carnauba liquid wax?
very good wax. i can only compare it to Moms' DC Carnauba, it's a wetter look... but durability is less compared to Moms. BTW, apply it very thin so that you will not have a hard time removing it. I use just 1/2 sachet on my honda city (excluding the roof, may sealant naman kasi).
MF Applicator Pad Question:
what kind of sponge is inside the applicator pad? d b parang sponge na binalutan lang ng MF yun? i'm just wondering kung bakit mahal sya. special ba yung sponge na yun?
thanks!
How bout yung Platinum liquid ultra-gloss ng Turltewax? Is it any good compared to 3M's liquid ultra gloss? Mas mahal nga lang ng 100 pesos yung 3M.
picard, yup yun yung gamit namin dati ng bro ko, platinum liquid ultra-gloss from TW. ok naman siya. nakaka-addict yung amoy! hahaha one sachet could cover two cars already...just apply it thin...
pero ngayon mother's products na gamit namin hahaha upgrade na![]()
i don't want to sound cryptic with my reply pero here's the thing: with regards to detailing, its up to you and your budget on where you're willing to go to get that elusive pop / shine for your car.![]()
some people prefer this brand, some enthusiasts may swear by with this other brand. depende talaga sa tao.
Well true, its subjective, some people swear by Brand X some people swear by Brand Y. Parang sa mga detailing forums sa tate, some people really swear by Zaino, same with Klasse, etc.
There are so many brands to choose from... go with what fits your budget, apply the product, maybe you can do a little review and post some pics here![]()
We'll i agree with your opinion. Actually I have tried already several products and you could hardly tell the difference if you dont do side by side "A" vs "B" comparison. Just like applying panel A with this brand and panel B with another brand and see for yourself the difference.
I'm just curious with what others say in different threads like upgrade to higher type of waxes. Presently i'm using Platinum series Turtle Wax and have very satisfactory results. I also tried 3M Hand Glaze before and other spray type detailers but I like and prefered the result of platinum TW.
You'll notice the difference more on a darker colored car.
Read thru this very long thread, I believe that there are plenty of reviews on the different products available in the local market as well as the more exotic brands, as well as photos of the cars worked on...I'm just curious with what others say in different threads like upgrade to higher type of waxes. hmm.. depends on your preference and the look you're after.
for its price, ok na ang TW but like I said, depending on your budget, you can opt for polishes, glazes, cleaners and waxes that can take your work and results to a higher level.![]()
BTW, just to clarify things, iba ang glaze sa wax.
hmm.. try the Search this Thread function bro.![]()
andun na yun..
