bought and tried the microtex package today sa transhow . ok naman for 1t pesos. smooth yun nanoglos wax with nanosliq quick detailer and wet look yun kotse mahirap lang gamitin yun kasamang microfiber wax applicator. masyado makapit sa paint yun applicator kaya nakakangawit hawakan. ok din yun tire black. non greasy and very shiny just make sure na malinis ang tires. didnt get the protectant i opted for two spray bottles of the nanosliq with the package for a little extra. bumili na lang ako ng mothers protectant BTW di ko lang alam kung abrasive sa finish yun wax nila pero mukhang hindi naman gaano since synthetic sya and para sya lotion.

Bakit ang microtex booth walang magandang model?? tapos puro lalake pa nag-aassist sau haha microtex model please! ang suot nya nakabalot ng microtex elite! joke!

went to megamall last night, napansin ko naka paper bag na yun 1k promo set nila. Pero pag hindi yung set ang binili mo, ordinary plastic bag lang ang lalagyan.

I was able to use the nanoSliq I bought at MIAS the other day, medyo may haze nga lang after applying, but i'm satisfied with the results.
Ok din yun sunshield protectant, non greasy sya.

*jmpet626: sorry for the late reply, my grandmother passed away last friday and i was stuck with all the deadlines at work and i had to finish helping my friend at the Microtex Booth, the Ultimate Protectant is 770 discounted, its well worth the price if you ask me.

*mau2485: actually they did have a model for MIAS, but the same girl was not available for the transport show and like jozep said they now have a nice paper bag for the kit, it was only finished today i think.

*jaymd: the applicator pad needs a little getting used to, i also had a hard time at first especially with paste waxes but once you get a hang of it its really good, and i like the idea that you could actually grab it, the wax doesn't contain polishes and won't reduce your clear coat

*jozep: hello, can you keep me posted on the Nano Sliq hazing? can you try to apply it with lesser amounts? see i've used it with great results and some did have some streaking we're wondering if its because of applying too much or if the product really streaks, the owner will be going back abroad to check out new probable products so if the product streaks i'll make sure to bring it to his attention

hi there, total newbie here on detailing....

i got a black honda jazz about 2 months ago and it has a lot of swirl marks already... maybe from the rags used to wash the car... i already got some products from microtex (washmitt and the microtex elite drying cloth) to wash the car...

to fix up the swirls i'm planning to use Meg's SwirlX(for the swirls) followed by Meg's Deep Crystal Polish then finish off with Meg's Gold Class Liquid Wax.... then do a regular waxing every 2 or 3 weeks

    would appreciate any inputs... TIA

Bought the 1k petot promo of Microtex.. Sulit na sulit ito, knowing that it's a great product at a very cheap price!

Come rainy season I hope that it'll protect the car from the nasty watermarks ..

*golti: thats a great plan for dealing with your problems with the swirls, my suggestion with regards to using swirlX would be to use it with light pressure to make sure you don't remove too much clear coat since its a new car, if the swirls aren't that deep you could also try filling the swirls, you could use Mothers Step 2 and top it with any wax you like, or you could try Microtex NanoGlos and Megs NXT and Eagle one for final waxes, these waxes have great filling capabilities.

*morlack: wow hello there fellow innova owner, the headlights of the innova is plastic so for very light scratches you could use Meguiars PlastX around 700+ and Mothers Plastic Polish around 400. If the scratches are deep, you might have to get yourself a headlights restoration kit, Meguiars and Turtle Wax already have them and i've tried them before with great results, Mothers just released their Headlights Restoration kit which i have not yet tested but the Megs and TW are great products and im sure Mothers will also perform great. For protecting the headlights, sadly there are no available protection against scratches unless you put a plastic film like expel or something, for protecting against fading and discoloration, Mothers Plastic Polish works best for me since it also provides protection

madkatz: is there a remedy for a deep scratch without using a "masilya"? Para lang ma-protect muna kesa ipagawa ko na agad sa shop.

*james00112233: if by deep scratch you mean it it went thru the color coat and stopped at the primer, them a thick application of wax would already do the trick, if by deep scratch you meant it striked thru not just through to the primer but right through to the metal then i would recommend you have it done in the shop and have bondo put over it to cover the exposed metal to avoid rusting. In my case what i do is use a clear coat pen from a paint correction kit i got in the US from TW, its basically a clear coat on a pen so for those instance like small spots i just use this and wait for the wash over, but if its big then its definitely body shop already.
