I am using Collinite now. I wasn't satisfied with the shine of Nanoglos kasi. I am never going back to Turtle wax paste because buffing it off feels like a full workout!

I purchased some Klasse products din. Maraming detailing gurus dito. Si montygtv, jhnkvn, scharnhorst etc

Hi detailing gurus out there, I just want to seek your advise on this mitsubishi car wax (that I got for free) if safe for use on a newly bought car?

Nanoglos is good enough but it won't last a month in our environment. It's good for newbies because it's easy to apply and remove by hand.

Like Cathy I use Collinite 845. This is a bit more difficult to apply because it has to go on very thin or else it will be very hard to remove. It lasts a long time though.

I used Nanosliq for after car wash maintenance. Last week I bought Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer for its water beading properties and so far it is performing as advertised.

For starters the Microtex set (soap, Nanoglos, Nanosliq) is good enough. They're cheap and effective. When you've got the basics down pat then you can invest on better (aka more expensive) products.

This is exactly what I did. I started with Microtex. I didn't touch my Dad's turtle wax products anymore because it's too difficult to remove!

Detailing is very addictive. Sometimes I would spend hours looking at towels pa lang. My Mom thinks it's silly how my MF towels are color coded (green for buffing off wax, orange to spread the QD etc) :bwahaha:

I posted this on another thread. I am very proud of the beading from Collinite

I got my Collinite from a friend in the US. IIRC Cathy got hers from an OLX seller.

I got my Sonax from Roadstar BGC. It was the last piece. I saw a few bottles in the Blade Glorietta 2 Branch.

Mahal nga Di ko pa alam kung gagamitin ko sya every carwash or Sliq ulit hanggang mawala ang beading.

Sonax amoy buko. Parang minamasahe ang oto using coconut oil

My beading on a dusty roof with 4-day-old Sonax and 2 month old 845 underneath:

Brilliant Shine Detailer daw sya so I guess it's a different formulation. Ok lang naman mag-wax as long as walang abrasives para di ninipis ang top coat. Sayang lang ang product kung wax nang wax at may bisa pa naman yung previous layer.

Personally if it stops beading then I start waxing

I got my Collinite through Amazon. I have not heard about Sonax, now I am curious.

    Here's my plan: Wash > KAIO > KSG > 845 > QD

JohnM, saan pwede isingit ang Sonax diyan?

I'm free weekday mornings. Name the time and place (as long as malapit lang sa BGC ). Or pwede din sa building mo (kung andun ka pa :D). Tabihan natin yung mahilig mag polish ng kambyo every morning :naughty2: Then SC sa baba smelling of coconut oil and pawis :gayfight:

Sama ka Cathy? I guess Sonax will become your QD. Sabi sa bottle kung light dust lang pwede Sonax agad.
