*ninjababez: Polish always comes before sealant/wax. You actually can see it on the bottle description. Meg's Ultimate Polish - Pre-waxing Glaze. It is a very fine polish based on Meg's #205 (Mirror Glaze Ultra Finishing Polish) but contains much more polishing oil (glaze) and less micro abrasive.

Add ko na lang, if you don't know which product comes before or after, just check what kind of product it is and refer to this diagram. e.g. if it is a Polish, then it comes before Paint Sealant/Wax.

im using collinite 845 and it only lasted 4 washes/1 month. does using a car shampoo helps in maintaining the wax? im using one though.

If sawa ka na mag-wax, then Optimum Opti-coat 2.0 is a very good choice. It is a kind of paint coating. You wash, clay and polish the car first, then apply Opti-coat 2.0. Any imperfection should be fixed first before application.

    Paint Coating
    - Will not wash or wear off. Can last for 2 years or much longer.
    - Provides a clear, hard coating that provides increased protection against the elements.
    - Paint finish has to be properly prepared before application. Any blemish or contamination on the paint will be permanently locked in.
    - Cannot be easily reapplied when slickness and protection begins to fade.
    - The professional choice for permanent paint protection. No more waxing!

    Recommendations:
    - Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 (Lasts for the car's lifetime)
    - GTechniq EXO Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating (Lasts up to 5 years)
    - CarPro CQuartz and CQUK (Lasts up to 2 years)

Note: Coatings are scratch-resistant but they are not scratch-proof. Clear coat is far thicker than coatings.

Clear coat thickness = 38 to 63.5 microns (1.5-2.5 mils)
    Coating thickness = 0.5 to 2 microns

^ Isn't Opticoat 2.0 the consumer/DIY version? It's thinner and has a shorter lifespan than Opticoat Pro, which can only be applied by Opticoat PH. I inquired kasi, messaged their Facebook account about it

Ang na-try ko pa lang from Autoglym is their Glass Polish. Easy to use and smells good. It's a UK brand established in 1965. Price is similar to Meg's. You can try either Extra Gloss Protection Sealant or High Definition Wax.

Thanks for the feedback sir. Where do you get it cheap? I usually see their wax prices going from 3.5k to 4.5k.

Yes, Opti-coat 2.0 is for the consumer/DIY community. Opti-coat Pro is only available for professionals so you won't be able to buy it for personal use.

Opti-coat Pro is more concentrated and will be thicker but max thickness is still 2 microns. Expect Opti-coat 2.0 to be 1 to 2 microns. Regarding durability, both products will "become" the top coat and not "wear" away like sealant/wax that weaken or diminish with exposure and maintenance.

If you worry about thickness (though you should not be), then apply Opti-coat 2.0 twice.

You can use Opti-coat 2.0 on brand new car if you want to. It is a matter of preference. It is a permanent coating so you wouldn't need to apply sealant/wax on the car anymore. Puro car wash na lang ang gagawin mo. Price in OLX is ~P5,000.
