Went there again a while ago to have my car washed and waxed. Great service! I also got stickers and some emblem removed from the body and windshield of my car for free. They left some dents though, but that's okay.

Oh and by the way, si Paul yung maliit na mejo nasa gitna yung hati ng buhok. Met him awhile ago. He really does his job well and siya yung klase ng supervisor na hindi puro utos lang. You get what I mean. Thumbs up BB!

er.. could you clarify? this is potentially damaging to the shop. with "they" do you mean BB themselves? or "they", meaning the stickers and emblems left dents underneath where they were originally stuck?

I've always been a BB patron. i'm especially fond of their engine wash services and exterior detailing when i enter carshows :P

Q: Assuming they offer Engine wash and Engine detailing (they differ kasi IMO, some shops offer them separately), waterless ba ang engine detailing ng BB?

oops, sorry, my bad.. i should have said engine detailing. yes, waterless sila. pareho tayo ng fears pero i've availed of their engine detailing services twice already. ibang klase talaga ang finish.

nakakapraning ang engine wash gamit ang pressure washer. walang peace of mind kahit na nakatakip na electricals mo at pinapanuod mo sila kung pano mag-wash. i only had this done once to my car sa tabi-tabing car wash. after that experience, di na ako umulit. diretso na ako BB after nun hehe.

Hehe no worries sir. Thanks for clarifying.

Exactly, yung peace of mind kasi talaga.

I really don't know who to blame sir. Hindi ko alam kung sasabihin kong mali ng BB o gawa nung stickers and emblems yung dents, so move on nalang. Di naman nakakamatay ang dent eh. Besides, luma na rin car ko and mejo matagal na rin nakakabit yung pinatanggal ko so baka nga gawa nun yung dents. Don't get me wrong. Kahit may dents oto ko sobrang satisfied parin ako. Swear

Gaano po ba katagal ang exterior detailing? Exterior lang ha. Hours lang ba? O iiwan pa ng overnight? Tsaka naggagawa rin ba ang Bigbert's ng touch up paint in case na may chip damage yung paint?

Sa mga naka Innova na nagpa new car paint protection, Nag improve ba ang shine ng paint after the treatment? napansin ko kasi hindi ganun ka kintab ang paint ng innova (ours was released just last month) as compared sa other toyotas (fortuner and altis).

And gaano katagal ang application ng new car paint protection system?

    Thank you

the full exterior takes the whole day... bring your car in at 8am. pero much better if you call the branch ahead to notify the manager/supervisor.

Thanks for the info sir. Matagal din pala. Dapat pala nag-papaschedule pag mag-papadetail.

Duration technically depends on the condition of the paint as well as how many persons are working sa car mo. My typical wash+clay+polish+seal detail takes 6 hours. But it would still be wise to inform BB in advance!

Hi Vince, nagpa-Optiguard ako last Sunday after lunch. I have some queries to supplement yung in-between quarterly PPP:

[1] Nung Sunday night umulan; naka park kasi sa labas auto ko. Natanggal ba yung paint sealant? Monday morning umulan ulit. Nag DIY car wash ako using Microtex shampoo and chamois. Natanggal ko ba yung paint sealant?

[2] Can i use the same chamois sa body, sa windows and sa mags?

[3] Sa Saturday pag nag DIY car wash ako, where meron akong more time, can i finish the washing with Microtex nanosliq? Can I use the Microtex plush in both body and windows?

[4] Can I use the Microtex wash mitt sa mags.

    Maraming salamat,
    Dave

I'm not Vince, but I hope you don't mind if I try to answer some of your questions.

Recommended curing time for Carlack LLS (the sealant used by Big Bert's for their "OptiGuard" offering) is 24 hours. If it got wet during that period, then the sealant might be somewhat degraded - and the fact that you washed it will have an even more deleterious effect. Also, are you using the chamois to wash the car? It's not really recommended that you do so; the chamois doesn't have any sort of plushness that would surround any dirt picked up from the paint to help prevent it from scratching.

[2] Can i use the same chamois sa body, sa windows and sa mags?
Please don't use the same towel, whether for washing or for drying, that you use on wheels on the bodywork. The dirt you pick up from wheels can contain bits of brake dust, which is both metallic, and therefore can easily scratch your paint, and also can rust, which can degrade your clear coat.

[3] Sa Saturday pag nag DIY car wash ako, where meron akong more time, can i finish the washing with Microtex nanosliq? Can I use the Microtex plush in both body and windows?
    Yes.

[4] Can I use the Microtex wash mitt sa mags.
You can, but as mentioned above, please don't use the same wash mitt for both wheels and body paint. I use two wash mitts for the paint and glass (one mitt for upper panels, one for lower panels), and a third mitt dedicated for wheels. I also have separate paint, glass and wheel towels.

Pasensya na ang dami kong tanong

    Maraming salamat,
    Dave
