BTW, how long would the actual Cash Wash take? How about the Wash and Wax? Do i need to schedule an appointment for either of these?

nagpa-glass cleaning ako sa bigberts araneta (both front and rear windshield) its been a week and a half di pa rin totally bumabalik yung beading dun sa glass...ganun ba talaga? baka di na talaga bumalik yung beading?

well, yung mga watermarks (outside the wiper/wiping area) natanggal na, pero may problem (?) naman ako dun mismo sa wiping/wiper area..malabo...parang mayroon hindi natanggal na material/substance? after mo mag-wiper, you would notice na may ibang area na malabo and ibang area na clear...

ganun ba talaga yun? please help...thanks..

^Also availed of their glass-polishing service a few months ago. I noticed I have some tough watermarks again. Not so sure if BB were not able to get it off or those were newly developed ones. Nevertheless, those are some tough marks to remove.

Yung malabo, I noticed this on my side windows. Its like the water is not beading as usual but instead, it was flowing down (leaving behind trails) which reduced visibility. Again, I dont know if its the result of the glass-polishing.

Also you mentioned yung malabo ay nasa windshield mo during wiper operation, perhaps the wiper blades need to be replaced?

imo, ganon talaga when the windows are polished. that's what happend when i polished my windsheild. (btw i used turtle was chrome polish, DIY lang) i just reapplied rain x after and ok na ulit ang water beading.

number001, before i went to bigberts for glass polishing naman, the wiper blades are doing well, as in no trail marks at all (sa wiping area), pero after ko magpa-glass cleaning nga...mas lumabo pa yung glass ko..hirap nga ako kagabi..

dont know rin kung nag-surface yung marks na iyon AFTER ng glass polishing (since wala naman sila dun beforehand..) yeah dont know rin kung hindi lang na-buff mabuti para matanggal kung ano man yung pinahid nila dun...

non-vtec, before hand kasi ok naman yung windshield, meron lang watermark stains sa non-wiping area, and it really bugged me...so i opt for the glass polishing sa bigberts. when i got the car it was sunny (actually it was really sunny for the whole week) so i didnt really get to test it until these past few days na umuulan ng malakas..

dont know kung ganun talaga pag after mag-pa-windshield cleaning...

With regards to beading, beading will not occur once polishing was done.
With regards to water trails, could you bring it back so we could polish it again. Thanks.

i see...trade-off pa lan yun...i didnt know that beforehand. always like to watch the water beading up when the windshield gets wet kasi eh..

will try to bring it this weekend or next week for repolishing..but check muna natin what i really see baka mmya ganun talaga or something..dont know also if we can see it with the pics that i took...

i guess applying rainx would bring back the beading but i dont want to do it everytime when it doesnt bead-up anymore...

can bigberts apply rainx for me na lang? to ensure na its evenly applied?

For beading, we recommend applying Rain X and leaving it overnight. Removing it the next day will be quite hard but is very much worth it. Ganda ng beading niyan for months. Rain X will cause wiper judder though.

and, ano ba ang mas ok sa windshield, yung nagb-bead ang tubig or yung nagfo-flow?

he he he no wonder I noticed having for the first time a ride whose wiper doesnt "judder". My previous rides were two EG Civics and EK Civic. All of them with the same wiper "judder" problem which cant be fixed even by the casa. The '06 CRV also has this problem. But the Toyota has no judders at all which made me conclude that maybe the "judder" is a Honda problem, yung pala, the glass polishing helped made the wipers slide!
