    1. Muddy - 2 capfuls would suffice on half filled bucket (around 2 to 2.5 liters). Be sure to water down the body thoroughly first.

    2. Dusty - Invest in Cali Duster. This is very helpful. There will be some dust left behind, use a qd and plush mf towel to finish it off.

    Boss blackmagic, your comments please.

Invest in LSP (Last Step Product). Options are: Mother's Step 3 Pure Carnauba Wax around P600, Mother's Topcoat around P1k, Meguiar's Step 3 around P600, Meguiar's NXT 2.0 around P1700, or Carlack SG around P1500; last two are my best picks. NXT has hydrophobic polymer technology and Carlack is not wax based (prolonged protection).

Check with Bigberts which LSP would best fit since some would not work if paired with another.

If you know how to "wax" not just wax wax, then you can do it monthly or even as frequent as weekly. If you are still not comfortable enough or have second thoughts if you're or you'll be doing it correctly then go to Bigberts. I'm sure they can teach everything you need to know.

My car is only 2 weeks old. Isn't it too soon to start waxing it? Shouldn't I wait 2 months or so?

Wait, I think Bigberts should confirm this specific query when you can actually wax your car. Ideally, to be on the safe side, you let the paint cure properly (around 2 to 3 mos.) before any wax be applied to it. For the meantime, you can apply step 2.

But as you said, your ride has Optiguard already, that only mean that your car has wax or some sort of protection already.

for brand new cars, you can avail of Optiguard, New Car Paint Protection or wax sessions.

for newly repainted cars, you have to wait for 2 months minimum before applying any kind of sealant/paint protection or wax.

For newly painted cars, you will need 1-2 mos for the paint to cure before applying waxes or sealants.
For new cars, you dont need to wait since the painting process of car manufacturers undergo high heat ovens. and the units usually sit in the factory and dealerships for quite some time before they are actually bought.

Hello Jeff - Just brought my new car city 09 (bold beige) to your shop for new car paint protection. Have some questions which I forget to ask... When will the sealant last? Do I need to wax the car or car wash with water is enough? Btw during evening, just noticed that my trunk have some sort of stain from the sealant once reflected a light coming from a lamp post. However you need to view sideways to see it. But during morning its invincible. Ano kaya yun?

Durability of the sealant depends on lots of factors like weather, proper maintenance, etc. We suggest washing with car shampoo. Just dilute the shampoo. You can also wax the car using carnauba wax. Don't use cleaner wax since it will strip off the sealant.

Regarding the stain in your trunk, it might be some unbuffed leftover sealant. Could you possibly bring your car back to us and I'll have it checked.
