I know Wings/Spoilers has aerodynamic purposes... I just wanna know if kung tutuong naninira daw ng Compartment Hood ito? Any Advice? Cause I'm Planing to get one of em "Doudble blades".

If it's a relatively heavy Aluminum wing and it's not well-braced, yes, it will destroy your trunk.
As for aerodynamic purposes, Spoilers are useless for handling unless you get a front-end splitter, too. If you're getting one to improve aerodynamics, forget it... it takes time in the wind tunnel and a good head for math to tune a rear spoiler for positive drag reduction.
Better to get a cosmetic spoiler meant for your car (ex: GTS spoiler for Sentra, RS spoiler for Lynx) or a more subtle ducktail. They look better, and won't warp your trunk-lid.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
1. is it a rear wheel drive car so you need more down force on the rear wheels? and do you normally drive at 180 kph everyday? wings don't work at low speeds. and wings have absolutely no use for a front wheel drive car! NOW, if you are talking about enhancing the coefficient of drag (or CD) of your vehicle, it's not wings you need. OEM rear spoilers is the answer for that, and may I add the benefits are very minimal. as for NON-OEM spoilers, those will in most cases actually increase the CD of your car.
2. do you think it's "in"? lots of people here in tsikot will tell you otherwise hehehe! it's baduy!
3. you have money to throw away and you just don't know where to? may we suggest a charity instead?
4. your labandera is making kulit to you for a mobile sampayan? this is the only reason we can think of why people put wings on their front wheel drive cars. why don't you fire your labandera instead. cheaper.
about the aerodynamics, if you do drive a rear wheel drive car AND at high speeds all the time then them wings better be wind tunnel tested. no facilities in pinas to do that though.
beware, there are many tsikot members with cameras whose hobby it is to go around and shoot pictures on the road. then they post it in the "look it's another fool with wings" thread.![]()
My mom despises those stuff... sabitan daw ng brief hehehe. better waste your money on something that's aesthitically more functional
All it does is help downforce. If you drive on a track, then a wing would probably help you keep your tires down on the road for better grip. But, a spoiler as daily driver??? wag na.
I saw a a new civic, with a Huge Aluminum Spoiler...what a waste of money. Aluminu wings on stock brand new cars look sooooo tacky.
hmmm,,,
respect,,,parepareho lang naman tayo mahihilig sa kotse eh,,,kung ano man ilagay nila respeto nalang,,trip nila yun,,we cannot judge them,,
change is Inevitable
i dont like the aluminum wings..
i also have a wing on my car. it came out stock with the mazdaspeed 323 familia![]()
