OT: Sorry bos, wala e... I just used to see one of em running around. Matulin sya... urban legend has it na Cosworth makina nun... I tried to race it with my newly broken in GLXi... talo yung car ko... ehehehe... I really loved the looks, parang Lancia Stratos na nilagyan ng square headlights...
I also saw yung parang 4x4 na gawa nya once... pero car guy me e...
Balita ko mabilis lang naubusan na sya ng funding...
Urban legend uli has it na Mr. Conge gained his experience at Ford SVT... masyado exacting ang standards nya kaya di naging financially viable...Last edited by Flagg; June 23rd, 2007 at 06:56 AM. Reason: Clarification lang

You are all welcome!
As I said, you are free to post in this forum. Here are some tips:
If concept car styling is your trip, magtampisaw kayo sa concept car thread.
You are encouraged to intervene in any of the threads here, and add value and style directions to the discussions, provided you are within topic.
You are free to pair off or team-up to develop vehicles that have a real chance to hit not just pulp and paper but concrete and blacktop.
Keep in touch with Tsikoteers who have a feel of the market, and the gearheads who know what goes on under the hood and chassis.
If you are daring enough, get to know your fellow designers/artists by Private Messenger (PM).
Now, if you are afraid your intellectual property might be plagiarized by unscrupulous fabricators and pirates, then please make sure you properly identify the images you post. Maybe soon, we could request for a password-protected thread where your valued posts can be viewd only by selected thread regulars.
Among ourselves, we respect each other's skills, visual preferences, and opinions. Designers are generally sensitive people, so remember the Golden Rule when you have to comment or critique someone's post. Hindi bawal mag-criticize or to make corrections, as long as you say it nicely, or with clean humor, with colorful language perhaps, but never scathing. And your intention should always be TO HELP, not to put down.
From time to time, expect passers-by and newbies to throw monkey wrenches at your work. They do that mostly coz they are clueless about the nature and context of our Design Forum. Let it pass and just prove them wrong by doing better next time.
Keep in mind that this is an advocacy forum whose bias is to promote ORIGINAL PILIPINO VEHICLES (OPV), so try to factor in pinoy forms and themes -- Filipiniana -- whether in auto body designs or interiors.Last edited by dprox; June 23rd, 2007 at 12:26 PM.

June 24th, 2007 06:48 PM #34Just wanted to drop a note to the would-be PhUV designers in case they are not aware - drey is organizing a class on 3D Studio Max. Informal environment type.
There is a thread somewhere in this forum. Or you can PM drey directly.
It is free of charge. Or if you are feeling charitable, the group can spring for an iced latte for him each session if the lessons are going to be held at Starbucks.
Instructor is a 3D Studio Max expert who is currently an Architecture student at PLM. BYON - bring your own notebook.

Sir, since mahilig rin maghakot ng gamit ang Pinoy, how about pick-ups?
Mahilig din ang Pinoy, pagmamasyal, dala ang buong barangay. I guess a people mover can be included in the listing. Para bang Filipino Version ng Suburban siguro, without the V8 engine.
