FMC, work with the economic colossus--The People's republic of China...the new economic superpower. Learn from what the Chinese native auto manufacturers have done to defeat these foreign brands---of course, no.1 is NATIONALISM!
From the mouth of the founder of Chery Motors himself during an interview--he organized Chery because he cannot tolerate a situation wherein China will be overran by foreign car companies alone. China must have its own vehicle to be proud of...(of course, SAIC, Geely, JAC, Foton, Nanjing Motors, Yuejin are already producing vehicles for their motherland)
I know, FMC, your company have already studied the present Philippine auto market and I believe you are convinced like me that there is a market for PHUVs like ANFRA and the Tsikot PHUV.....
In these trying times, especially for Pinoy entrepreneurs like FMC..what you have done is heroic...
You courageously spent you hard earn money to revive Anfra and FMC to give Pinoys like me an alternative--almost trapped by the price manipulation of oligopolists..
Hindi biro ang magpakawala ng pera ngayon...
ICONIC ANFRA...WeLcome back!
Mabuhay ang AnFRa at ang Tsikot PHUV!!!Last edited by jpdm; November 17th, 2007 at 09:05 PM.

Underchassis components, brakes etc. I think they all came from JAC.

For me the fit and finish of the vehicle was very shoddy. I wouldn't really mind the antiquated design [I love vintage cars] if it was put together with more care. But everything seems haphazard. The paint, the cabin trim, even the underhood components. Lots of overspray, misaligned panels, etc.
Parang ginamitan ng 'pwede na iyan' attitude.
Even AMC can produce a better [though nothing spectacular] interior for their Hammers especially considering how simple Jappy's shop is.

November 18th, 2007 12:43 AM #49This Anfra is over-priced at P440,000 with an underpowered and pirated 1.8li diesel engine that spews out a measly 65Hp. Who knows how reliable this Chinese engine is or how long it will last. Remember 1 year lang ang waranty.
The venerable Mitsubishi L300 has a larger and better-built body. It also has an ultra-durable and proven 2.5li 4D56 diesel sells for 600T. Dami pang piesa. May resale value pa.
