hello A5 owners,
ask ko lang ano bang katapat ng A5 sa BMW? Is it the Z4? or M1 perhaps or 1 series coupe? Not definitely an M3 coz sobrang layo naman ng A5 sa M3 di ba?
Any feedback of A5 performance compare to whatever is the competitor?
Thanks guys balak ko kasi bumili ng A5?

What variant of the A5 is available in the Philippines? I think the BMW 335i would be the counterpart of the A5 3.2L Quattro.

3.2L Quattro yung andito. By order basis yung S5 variant.
Pwede rin 335i ang rival.
Or 630i?

Okay, I had to read on the 630i. Yes, it looks like it's in the same range. SG, do you have an idea how much an S5 is here? Just asking don't have nowhere near that kind of money. Hahaha

Wala ako makita price nung S5 eh.
Pero yung 3.2 Quattro ay 4.7M

only 1 variant A5 is available here: (below what i found from research)
A5 3.2L FSI quattro tiptronic 262hp Coupe P4.7Million
BMW models for comparison:
135i 2.9L 306hp Coupe M sport P4.6Million (naliliitan ako sa body nito, mas type ko ang A5. pero kung M1 or M3 wala ng tanong-tanong pa the best yon)
335i 2.9L 306hp Convertible P5.8Million (ok din to pero mas mahal naman at saka coupe lang gusto ko)
Z4 3.0si 2.9L 258hp Convertible P6.0Million (ganun din to mas mahal, pero kung sa convertible naman ito ang type ko)

*Starex Gold - Thanks. I can just dream about it.
* My BMW - Well SG is right on 630i would be a match for it, for the body type and specs. It's just the performance and price to consider.

The A5 coupe is based on the A4 sedan, the 3-series coupe would be its direct competitor from BMW.
*my_BMW, the displacement of the turbocharged engines (N55B30/N54B30) found in the 135i, 335i and sdrive35i is 2979cc which is rounded of to 3000cc or 3.0 liters.
If you don't plan to stuff adults at the rear for long distances, th 135i coupe would be a nice alternative, thats pure classic BMW there, compact and light like the classic BMW 2002 and early 3-series models.
PS: The M-version of the 1-series won't be called M1 because that name is sacred for BMW (M1 is the original M, and its a mid-engined supercar.)
The M-version of the 1-series coupe will be called "1 Series M Coupe".

in tv shows i saw the A5 and 325i coupe are always in battle, the US have 2 engine for the A5 a base will have the 2.0 turbo I4 211bhp and 3.2 V6 265bhp vs BMW 325i 3.0 I6 300bhp. the A5 is heavy vs the 325i due to its awd system.
Somewhat expected from a rushed car from a first time carmaker
