    Mga sir, newbie lang po.tanong ko lang po kasi lately mga 3 days na, pag sumasalunga yung oto ko tumataas yung temp nya hanggang 3/4. Hindi naman po tumutuloy magoverheat. Specially yung sa bandang sumulong kung may nagagawi sa inyo.pagsalunga ko papuntang valley golf doon nagsisimula umangat yung gauge. Pero pag patag na, nagnonormal naman. Ano po kaya posibleng rason dito? Salamat po

    don't be alarmed, it sounds normal. as long as it is not overheating, there is no problem. just to make sure, have your system pressure checked to pressures at 13 psi (0.9kgm/sq.cm.), check your antifreeze/coolant for concentration, check the radiator fins for foreign material or debris and that the cooling fan operates normally

    salamat sir jick. pano machecheck yung system pressure? medyo kinabahan lang po kasi unang beses ko naencounter yun.

    mr pange,
    pressure checks are routine procedures everytime you replace any cooling system components that involves the antifreeze/coolant. check the radiator cap too for pressure hold

    di yan normal mag 3/4. check mo muna coolant levels and any leaks. kun wala baka bibigay na water pump or thermostat mo

    oks mga bossing. salamat po sa feedback. pachek ko sa mekaniko. nga pala, puro tubig lang nakalagay dun. wala pang halong coolant.

    i believe those are early signs of a cooling system that's going to fail soon. i'd have my radiator checked first for clogs, inside and out.
    and i'd find out if my fans are in working order. baka mahina na umikit.

    hi guys, ito yong ginawa ko sa civic recently when its temperature rises. replaced (1) temperature sending unit = P 320; (2) radiator repair/cleaning = P 500; tapos Absolute distilled water 1 gallon, DIY lang. Symptom: hindi gumalaw ang radiator fan kahit mainit na ang engine and visual check sa radiator marami nang clogs.

    oks.salamat po.i'll do the same.pero nga po pala, banggitin ko na din, minsan pag nakakatuwaan ko humataw sa nlex tumataas din yung temp. same din kaya cause nun? salamat po. happy new year na din sa lahat.

    Sa aking pagka-unawa tumataas ang temperature pag tumaas ang rpm ng makina (hataw driving at paahon ang direction). Natural lang na tataas sandali dahil sa dagdag na load ang makina at dapat babalik sa normal (about 1/2 ang gauge pointer) kung walang problema ang cooling system ng sasakyan. Pag steady sa 3/4 ang pointer ibig sabihin hindi na efficient ang cooling system, in which case maraming dahilan. Some are the following but not limited to: Scale build-up sa cooling jacket & connections, insufficient radiator fan speed, dirty or partially cloggged radiator (both air & water side), partial defect of temperature switch/sending unit for radiator fan control, defective cooling water pump (internal corrosion & cavitation), loose v-belts for water pump drive, partial combustion leak to cooling system. Mga ito po ay patungkol sa cooling system lang without consideration sa condition ng makina e.g. worn piston rings, leaky intake/exhaust valves, defective turbo charger, dirty intercooler, etc.
