Several days ago, pinaayos ko yung A/C resistor then nag-tanong yung A/C mechanic kung kailan ko pa daw last nagpalinis ng A/C? Sabi ko hindi pa since nakuha namin yung vehicle. Dapat daw ay yearly ang A/C cleaning for maintenance at A/C longer lifespan. Baka sales talk lang. Hehehe.
Anyways, may mga instances kasi dito sa Tsikot na after mag-pa-A/C cleaning ay nagkakaroon ng problema so kaya ayaw ko.
What's your opinion?

I just wait till there is a drop in performance. No regular schedule except for the replacement of filters (when equipped).

i also do not have my a/c cleaned annually.
i just do it kung may drop in performance, o kung may kailangang gawin para isang bukasan na lang.
there was this time when i had my a/c cleaned, mas lalong nagkaloko-loko. palit pa ako ng expansion valve, nasira pa yung a/c vent circulation ko.

Aircon of car doesn't need a yearly cleaning ... but if your rich enough if couldn't be that bad
Aircon cleaning usually cost about 1200 depending on what car and depending on which parts are needed to be replace
for instance basic car model ... usually cost 400- 450 dryer, 700 - 1200 for the expansion valve ( usually honda cars has higher expansion valve since it is lighter type )
for freon this ranges from 600 - 650 for single aircon meaning the aircon is in the front
dual aircon car like fx, revo which has aircon both front and rear costs around 1200 - 1300
for cleaning dual cars usually more expensive about 2800 php this is for general cleaning ... * gen cleaning is removing all parts or aircon, flushing, cleaning and replacing ofr dryer, o ring the works .... usually costs about 5000+
for those you want to know how to know when your compressor is broken ... usually check ninyo kung sound ng compressor .. yung iba bearing lang ang sira ... which you can hear it
