mas maganda bumili ka sa surplusan ..kasi ung nabibiling tig 150 pesos..madaling maluto ung goma..base sa aking experience...result..kaunting init ng radiator,,pumupunta na dun sa reservor ung tubig sa radiator...
naghanap ako ng orig na surplus,,,ayun naging normal ung tubig ng radiator ko...hindi na nagbabawas,,,
nakuha ko lang ng 250 pesos...

if buyer knows how to examine surplus radiator caps for defects, then i suppose it's ok to get them. otherwise, brand new is "safer".
Go OEM or at least with an OEM manufacturer (i.e. Denso).
I've tried those Circuit brands before (no choice as the cap gave way and that's the only one i could get on the road) and it did not last too long. Radiator caps should also be changed every three years or so as the gasket and pressure rating deteriorates over time.
