mechanixx,
how does a triage nurse know the baby's body temperature is a bit too high? does she use a thermometer? in your case, you need a manifold gauge to observe the pressures of the high side (about 270 psi on your ambient temperature range) and the low side ( about 27- 30 psi on the same ambient). then, if the shop has a PTC (pressure/temperature chart), they will be able to see the corresponding temperature basing on the pressure. bring your car to someone who knows what he is doing.

    dealermate,
bambino is absolutely right assuming the climate control system is factory installed with OEM parts. but in the philippine automotive service industry where the parts market is saturated with fake, substandard, made in who knows where and the "pwede na 'yan" parts, it does not apply. that's the reason why i recommended the pressure/temperature way of determining the right amount of refrigerant. the objective is to have the cabin temperature lower than the average human body temperature by around 20 degrees fahrenheit or around 65 to 70 degrees (humans normally have about 87 to 90 degrees of body temperature). what we are trying to do is to put the cabin within comfort zone.

mga sir tnong lang po mern po ba kau alam na aircon shop na nag titimbang ng freon instead na nag babase lng sa gauge? prang mas accurate pag tinitmbang ang freon. anyone here na nkakaalm let me know thanks.

Ang problema nasa R134a, if you tried to clear the glass puwedeng ma-overcharge ang system. Kung walang proper equipment at data it needs a lot of experience to do it right.
