I'd guess, any a/c unit should be able to cool down decently as long as proper maintenance is followed.
When I had my AC fixed, the only thing they replaced was a bad leaking shrader valve (pito) on the high port. Nagpalagay ako ng R12 (here in the US it's still OK) and it's very cold kahit minimal setting, and mind you, this is an original system in a 24 year old car.

+1. 97 model nissan ko pero lamig pa rin. lalo na ngayon, kakapalinis ko pa lang kila mang mario. imagine this setting: time: 12 noon. outside temp: 36 deg cabin temp before A/C: almost 50 deg "ON" ko a/c at these settings: 28 deg, number 3 fan speed. after ten minutes siguro, ibabalik ko na sa low yung fan speed, lamig na e.

Yeah nissan lakas talaga ng aircon. I happen to have a 96 S3 a couple of years ago and malakas talaga. One time I had the evaporator cleaned and kaya pala malakas, ang laki ng evap compared to other cars.

My civic SiR has no tint pero malakas naman din ang aircon. What I did is I disabled the heater. I plugged the water passage on the engine block and now my a/c runs cool. kahit wlang tint malamig pa din.

Same comments on the A/C system ng Sentra/Sunny Series III. It was the coolest A/C in its time.

With that, I do want to see if this still applies to NEWER Nissan vehicles (ie. Murano and Teana). Sana we can test this out sa Motor Show.

In other news, I'm surprised sa A/C system ng Toyota Previa (3G).

Ang lamig niya when you just set it to lowest fan speed. Set it to 4-speed (maximum in most cars) then you feel like you're in Alaska or Antartica.....

But surprisingly, puwede pala 'to isagad even further with 7-speeds sa FAN BLOWER. I haven't seen any car with so many fan speeds in my entire life (being used to max * 4-speeds) but I can say that it's freezing inside during last year's test drive ng kotse.

Wow!!!, walang duda na talagang sub-zero na ang pakiramdam

I tried also temperature testing ng car ko kahapon, toyota corolla 97 model,it don't have tint, five (5) of us is inside the car, the ambient temperature is 36 deg.C, I set the thermostat to 3/4 only and the blower is set at #2. I put an analog thermometer sa tapat ng A/C grills sa center console, after two (2) mins. nag-automatic off na ang condenser fan, the temperatures that registered is 15degC. sa A/C grills, while inside temperature is 21.5 deg.C.

In effect aside from the engine bay radiator, nakakapagpalamig din yung 'in-cabin radiator' or yung heater...

To determine if the AC is working properly, the temperature at the AC vents should be half of the temperature outside the vehicle. It looks like yours is working perfectly.

I was able to make mine read 6 deg C when running at the coldest setting when temperatures here were 20's, though on a regular day (24C) the temperature at the AC vents would be ~10-12C, just right. The lower the blower speed, the colder it will get. The higher blower speed is just to get all the warm, humid air out of the system and quickly replenish it with cool, dry air from the AC. Kaya masmalamig kapag lower blower settings ang ginamit, dahil yung air is denser when it hits your skin and therefore, colder.

And this is with good old R12 refrigerant in a 24yo car, possibly with the original compressor too.
