Won't the added humidity make it harder for the AC to cool and dehumidify the cabin air?

Doesn't the AC work by dehumidifying the cabin air because water can absorb energy and therefore create heat, whereas a dry cabin is easier to cool because there are no water molecules to trap the heat (energy)?

I don't think heat is created per se. But humidity does have more latent heat. A humid air parcel does take longer to modify because of the latent heat. Technically yes, a dry air parcel is easier to cool. During the monsoon season here, the car seats doesn't take as long to cool down probably because air temp outside is around 92-95F (monsoon season) while temperatures during dry days go up to 120F.

Either way, the Sonata A/C is quite good.

Isuzu! anlamig nagrereklamo pasahero ko kahit nasa 1 pa lang. Kahit yung 1997 Hilander ng kapatid ko hindi pa rin nagbabago ang lamig ng aircon.

let us skip the new models, becuase they can produce cold air even at noon of summer, i think its how you use your aircon system and how you maintain it

My 1990 Nissan Pathfinder has a very cold A/C even during summer here in the Middle East which can average to 52C at around 3PM. Yun Galant shark model ay mahina ang A/C. Compare ko sa newer models of my friends' 2004 to my wife's 97 model. Pareho lang silang hindi kasinlamig ng Nissan ko kapag summer.
