try to check first before replacing the sending unit mahal masyado ang OEM temp sensor at sending unit, bili ka nalang ng replacement sa suki mong autoshop spareparts, pakita mo yung sending unit mo at pa test mo muna kung nawala prob bilhin mo na hehe kung hindi baka you need to replace both temp sensor and sending unit

I agree with the waterpump.

Get a 2nd opinion, mahal at matrabaho kasi ang resurfacing, dapat magaling yung machine-shop technician, otherwise, sayang lang pera mo.

I would recommend brand new kung may available, however.

    jessylaiza,
try to focus first on the cooling system of your vehicle before thinking of anything else. first, try to check the condition of your water pump, if its full of rust and scales..replace. Is the fan belt tight enough? try to flush out your radiator, maybe it has accumulated dirt and rust scales. Check if your thermostat is still intact, if it is, try to remove it, probably its not working anymore, or i may suggest, remove it.
Also, try to see the settings of your fuel system. Is your carb set to lean or rich mixture? Try to check them one at a time. As much as possible, i'm trying to save you huge expenses, right?
