2nd time na nag over heat hi-ace ko... 2L diesel makina... as in ubos ang tubig... ang hirap wala kaming makitang tulo o singaw sa radiator, the first time it happened after pinalamig at kinargahan ng tubig back to normal sya...
tonight 3 weeks after the first overheat... from raon to sta. mesa nag over heat ulit same thing happened simot ang tubig... after letting it cool and putting water normal na ulit...
every morning bago umalis driver checks water ang oil, puno naman daw palagi yung radiator nung buksan nya...pag naka park naman wala naman tulo pag alis ...
ok naman yung rad-fan... di pa naman malabot na parang kulang sa silicon oil
ano kaya problema nito???

wala naman kayang leak ang water pump nyan? (if applicable)
how about the radiator cap? wala naman signs ng leak sa cap?

March 8th, 2006 04:31 AM #3A visual inspection can be misleading. To be sure that the radiator is full, pour water or dip a finger. Sometimes, there's a bubble or a pocket of air underneath the surface that makes it look like there's water.

March 8th, 2006 11:02 AM #7Probably have a crack in a radiator hose that only shows when it's hot. Check engine oil if there's water mixed in.

March 8th, 2006 12:54 PM #10my mechanic just called.. he saw a very small leak at one of the water plugs near the lower hose... its so slow that leaked water evapoartes fast due to engine heat that when i open the engine to inspect i don't see wet spots ... hope it solves the problem... now back to observation period... hay
