May 12th, 2012 01:26 AM #1Good evening mga sir. Possibleng may leak daw sa evaporator yung 2006 vios namin. According sa mga nabasa ko, ok na daw pamalit yung mga aftermarket evaporator, kahit anong class, as long as hindi yung locally made. Yung iba naman sabi mag-oem na kung kaya ng budget.
Questions:
1. Gaano ba kalaki ang difference ng oem vs imported aftermarket evaporator in terms of tibay at cooling effect?
2. Any idea sa estimated price ng oem? Meron ba sa banawe nito or available lang sa denso kapag dun nagpagawa?
3. Pareho lang ba kapag sinabing oem at laminated? replacement at aftermarket? (Paki-clear kasi nalilito ako)
4. Quote kasi sakin 8.5k all in, laminated (note: tanggal dash). May naka-try na kaya na bumili na lang sa labas ng evap then pakabit sa shop para cost lang ng aircon cleaning(2.5-3k)?
Sana may makasagot. Marami na ko nabasa dito pero wala kasi ako makita tungkol sa oem evaporator.

May 17th, 2012 11:57 PM #21.ala masyado diff..maliban kung hindi marunong ang titingin..size,coolingfins at ang space nito.
2.meron mga pwesto sa banawe.
3.hinde..oem orig parts..ibig sabihin stock..laminated isang klase ng coil..exp sa ibang unit meron din tinatawag serpentineo di kaya yung fabricated.
4.pm kita.

Tubing, fin pitches, and all material gauges remaining the same of course.

September 26th, 2012 02:14 AM #7when my innova's rear evaporator sprung a leak, i initially asked for aftermarket, because it was cheaper. alas! it did not fit the plastic frame. i had to buy the OEM..
