November 27th, 2012 07:16 PM #1if the gauge has no numbers on it, midway would be a good reading. but in heavy traffic on a hot day, slightly more than halfway is still ok. and i would start looking at the needle more, if it starts creeping to 3/4 of the way..

November 28th, 2012 08:03 PM #3the thermostat causes faster temp rise in the engine block. you can usually see the needle move after only 2 km.. but if the thermostat is removed, it would take considerably more time for the needle to start moving , mebbe 2 to 3 times longer.
btw, check the connections... baka hindi kunektado..
figures are only from CAMPI... BYD is not a member of CAMPI, so its safe to say that there will be...
