April 12th, 2008 12:52 PM #1Tsikoteers, ask ko lang kung may problem and a/c ko kasi after kong magpaoverhaul ng compressor at napalitan yung filter at ex-valve nya, nalinis na rin yung fitters, pag binuksan ko yung a/c malakas manginig yung car ko, parang mamamatay pag hindi ko inapakan ang gas. ano kaya problema nya o natural lang yun? isa pa minsan lumalabas yung lamig sa ibabaw ng dashboard ko dun sa butas sa taas at nawawala yung sa gitnang part pero malakas buga nya sa gilid. Guys please help! Toyota corolla xl po gamit ko.

April 12th, 2008 02:36 PM #2Bro, kung lumalamig naman ang air-con mo okey yan, ang problem yun Idle-up malamang di gumagana, di nataas ang idling pag nag on ka ng A/C. Kahit sa hindi mekaniko ng air-con or mekaniko ng engine puwede mong ipagawa yan.
Check mo rin yun hose ng vacuum ng idle-up bka natanggal lang... mabuhay..

bro ok lang yan pa adjust mo na lang ang idling mo ?
im sure na malamig ang aurcon ng car mo pag ganyan?
aus lang yan peeps ganyan din yung corolla ko dati minsan nga namamatay pa eh pag galing sa mabilis ang takbo tapos biglang mag miminor

April 21st, 2008 09:04 AM #5Guys, ask ko lang anu yung tubo na tinanggal ng mekaniko para hindi mamatay yung makina ko pag naka on yung aircon? fuel air something ata yun, hindi kaya masama yun sa car ko pagnakatanggal? kasi nung kinabit ko namamatay yung engine pag hindi ako nagaaccelerate.

Adjustment on the idle-up mechanism of your vehicle is needed. Baka ang sinasabi mong tubo ay IACV.

August 5th, 2008 09:06 PM #7ganyan din sira ng car co toyota gli, sabi sa toyota marikina sira daw vsv ko wala daw silang ganong piyesa kaya bili ako s sa banawe idle up daw tawag doon,ako na nagkabit tapos ganon parin, balik ko sa toyota di rin nila magawa kc iba daw na bili ko,kaya bili uli ako iba naman itsura nung idle up, sabi nila pareho lang daw yun, kabit ko ganun parin, kaya adjust ko na lang rpm ko, basta di namamatay ang makina ok nayun.

Idle is too low. When ac compressor comes on engine should rev up higher to keep it from stalling. if its not revving up then it could be that the switch on the compressor is messed up and isn't bringing up the idle when its turned on. its just putting too much load on the motor.
Could it be an electical power drain, the A/C is drawing more power than the car can provide, It could be that your alternator is not working as it should, or the A/C is faulty dahil hindi maganda ang pagkagawa. Check both.
Regarding your vent. There are couple of possiblities here. Blower motor resistor and harness could be burnt. Your rpoblem sounds like a blend air door issue in the heater box. It sounds like it is on the verge of going. Typical signs are what you said and when it does finally go, the air will only come out the defroster mode. It is every bit of a thousand of pesos ( dont know for sure about the price) to fix too, they have to remove the dash to get at the heater box. It could also be a vaccum hose that is off the manifold too, hopefully yan nga ang problema. Good luck to you.

sa mga old models na cars they use Vacuum para tumaas ang idling ng engine whenever you turn your A/C on.
sa latest cars naman IAC naman ang gamit, Idle Air Control. located ang IAC mostly sa throttle body, ang use nya ay mag open and close ng hangin na pumapason sa throttle. pag on mo ng A/C mag oopen yung IAC, allowing the air to pass to the trottle at imemeasure naman ng MAF yung volume ng air at i sesend nya sa PCM or ECU then the ECU will adjust the injector pulse para mag balance yung air and fuel, don na tataas yung idling.
Getting a toyota would be ideal mostly for those looking for practicality or one who will use it...
