kahit sa pajero ganun din, the moment you turn the knob away from the full/coldest setting, pasok agad heater.

well, siguro pagbalik ko sa kanya e may pagtatalunan na uli kami . pero mas maganda e puntahan ko yung pajero ng friend ko at matesting muna. in a way, di rin sya sure nun(2003 yata yun) sa thermo design ng pajero kaya doubtful sya.

An aircon mechanic once told me to depress the a/c button of my car to let my compressor spin down at least 2 to 3 minutes before I turn off my engine, parang yung ginagawa natin sa aircon ng bahay para tumagal lifespan ng compressor. So, I depress the a/c button when I'm very near my destination.

Pare another myth yan. Iba ang aircon ng bahay sa kotse. The reason why you have to wait for 2 minutes or so before turning on your house aircon again is for the pressure to equalize or something.

Is this true?

I used to ride on his Mazda 323 as part of our deal of car pooling in early 90's. He was an ECE guy and one that top the board exam. One early morning on our way to work I opened the window (manual pa nun) of his car though the aircon is on while we are cruising along edsa. Medyo matagal tagal na rin nakabukas yun then he told me:
