had my coolant replaced 2 weeks ago, isinabay ko lang sa change oil.
clearly saw that the coolant almost reached the MAX level sa reservoir...just checked kanina, and its nearer to the MIN level
wala akong makitang tagas...wala rin namang overheat concerns yung oto.
sobrang taka lang ako kung bakit parang mabilis lang bumaba yung coolant sa reservoir. cause for concern kaya ito?

December 12th, 2010 02:43 PM #2That's normal after having a complete coolant change because of air pockets inside the system. Just top up with coolant and you're good to go.

December 12th, 2010 08:11 PM #3dude 96' model pa yang otto mo kaya medyo mag expect ka na ng mga posible na problema, check mo kung may traces ng leak sa bottom part ng water pump. baka due for service na water pump mo. Kadalasan jan sa breather tumatagas yan. Nagbabawas ng konti ang level ng coolant kung hindi na bleed properly nung nag palit ka ng coolant.

continious ba ang pag babawas, subukan mong magdagdag then monitor mo muna kung magbabawas pa , pag di na wag mo nang problemahin ok na yan.

normal yan kung nag drain ka ng radiator, lalo na kung me thermostat pa makina mo, refill kalang ulet.

subukan mo muna ibleed. baka may natira pang air pockets sa water jackets.
remove rad cap and race engine several times until no large bubbles bloat at the rad neck. then refill with coolant when cold.
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
