Malakas ka siguro mag thermostat at patay agad pagdating sa destination, ganun rin KASI gawa dyan nung nasa planta pa lang, todo dito todo dun. I suggest gawing habit ang thermostat off (a/c button) with fan on few minutes before shutting down para matuyo ang linya. Maalis yan and would also help your battery for the next start.
Nung brand new XTO ko ganyan rin – amoy pawis na panis  ke bago-bago. ganun lang ginawa ko, ambango na ngayon – 7 years without cleaning with only 30+K kms.
also stay away from gel air freshner esp yung mga citrus - umaasim amoy nyan pag tagal.
CHECK NA LANG PO SEARCH BUTTON, dami na discussion about this.Last edited by XTO; January 30th, 2009 at 09:53 AM.

We have this 2008 Toyota Innova and whenever we turn on the aircon (naka park whether indoor or outdoor), may parang panis na amoy na lumalabas sa vents. Sabi daw ng mom ko dahil sa mga perfume na nakalagay sa car. Can this be true?? Thanks!

It's possible. Perfume is based on natural scent oils and these can stick to certain surfaces (including the ducting of the A/C vents). As these oils age or react with bacteria/fungus, they can start smelling bad.
You can have the A/C cleaned and maybe the vents as well. Sometimes the A/C evaporator gets dirty and have fungi growing on it or dirty water accumulates there too. Cleaning should help there too.
