I'm not sure what you mean by "on/off" of the compressor. But, on a standstill idle w/ ac on, from time to time, you will notice the tachometer go up by 200rpm or less for a second or two then go down. I believe this has something to do with the compressor.

Sa mga regular type of aircon yung compressor will shut of (magnetic clutch) once na attain na yung temperature setting ng thermostat. Pag tumaas na ang temperature the magnetic clutch will engage again para gumana ang compressor. The same with aircon sa mga bahay namamatay ang compressor.

Bro ilagay mo lang sya sa recirculation mode setting

Yes. Switch to recirculate mode so outside air will not be admitted into the cabin.
