Dali lang naman change if ever, drain all freon and oil, change the drier and expansion valve ata, then refill with appropriate oil and freon.... I suggest you go to a shop with the right equipment to fully drain the existing freon and not yung pinapakawala lang basta basta.... I suggest you send ZEAGLE a PM or go to their Denso shop in Makati.
Hi guys,
here in the philippines, imo, kaya may ganyang patakaran e para kumita lalo ang LTO...how?
So now if nagka problem aircon ko convert na....
Kasi ako nakarehistro kahapon lang... Same procedure as before 1. emmission 2. Stencil 3. Hintay 4. Bayad 5. sticker... Im using R12 pa since bago pa compressor ko and bagong linis...
Ang stupid nila... Ano gusto nila bumili ng 98 up lahat ng tao all of a sudden....
absolutely right.the emission testing was supposed to reduce smoke belchers out on the streets.it turned out to be a money well for certain nutheadsOriginally Posted by RedHotBlood
totoo yan... Had my emission test hindi man lang kinabit yung device sa tambutso ko... Result and bayad na lang... Kakilala kasi nung taga LTO... Although I bet hindi ako babagsak sa emission kasi I mentain my car Properly...
1996 model up dito sa philippines kahit anong brand R-134a na siya, Pero my nabibili pang R-12 sa market, my mga shop R-12 ang ikinakarga para malaki ang kita, By 2010 sabi ng DTI totally di na makakapasok sa Philippines ang Refrigerant R-12, para masunod ang itinatakda ng Clean Air-Act.....mabuhay...![]()
Actually, R134a was mandatory in 1994 so you can see cars that have R12 for 1993 and older models, while 1995 and above usually already had R134a as standard. I have seen this myself since my wife's former 1993 Sentra had R12 while our 1995 Corolla had R134a.
R134a is a smaller molecule so if you want to have it converted, have all seals and O-rings replaced so that the smaller molecules will not escape as easily as R12. R12 has larger molecules so with the normal seals and O-rings it won't readily escape through leaks. Also, since R134a is a less dense substance, a higher pressure is required to run the AC system in a converted vehicle (usually cars 1993 and below) so you might expect a bit more fuel consumed through this. If the R134a is standard on the vehicle then you don't have to change fuel consumption figures to compensate for it.
i own a 97 nissan sentra lec. r12 pa rin sya.
sabi sakin ang kailangan for conversion is flush the freon & oil, change the drier, then load up with r134 coolant.
malaking tanong nga kung paano made-determine ng lto kung r12 or r134. ok lang siguro kung yung mga compliant lusot na. pano yung r12 na converted to r134?
