I recently had my A/C serviced at Frigid Zone. Total cost was P5.2k and includes the following (as I recall them):

Removal and cleaning of evaporator and condenser
    New R134a refrigerant
    New dryer (replacement)
    New expansion valve (OEM)

My evaporator blower is also showing signs of wear as it no longer moves air as powerful as it used to. This is confirmed when I asked Frigid Zone to test a brand new blower for comparison. But then I decided to delay the blower replacement (costs 6.5k) and just continue using the old blower until it dies.

    Sir oj88 -

May marerecommend ba kayo or alam na reliable aircon shop dito sa may mandaluyong area or laguna area (weekends)? I am encountering the same problem where the airconditioning becomes a blower after around an hour and usually when in traffic.

    Thanks,

    RPP

Sorry bro. I'm not around those parts. I can only recommend Frigid Zone as I've already tried them. They have several branches in QC.

In Laguna, you can check out Autobisyo (https://www.facebook.com/autobisyo). It's the only shop I know in the south that I trust.

Sir Dongmbb -- Also considering it depending how the schedule plays out. Most likely this weekend na lang sa kanila. Tried texting their number kaso di pa sumasagot...
