Reliable Car Aircon Repair Shop

Hi, I have a Mazda 323 and my car aircon was not blowing cold air. I brought it to one of the car aircon repair shops along Marcos Highway. They said the freon leaked out so they did some welding and filled up the freon. After three days, the problem came backed.

Can you recommend any reliable car aircon shop?

i suppose you live somewhere near the road you mentioned, just swing by P.tuazon, that's the road across sta.lucia east mall and you'll see Bantug(near mcdo)...had tried their service once, as well as some of the tsikoteers here..ok dun. otherwise, just do a search using aircon as your keyword. dami na na discuss regarding aircon repair shops.

Better choose another shop. We had 1 1/2 year old compressor that was working fine (long enough to be safe from factory defect) that got busted after a cleaning service from Bantug. They denied any responsibility but we suspect they charged the wrong freon. Now we have to shell out 10-15k for a new compressor.

This was a horrible experience for us. BEWARE

If you guy are familiar with Wintercool aircon in banawe dati, and hinahanap sila kasi gagamitin na pwesto nila dati. Andun sila now sa blumentrit cor. piy margal right side coming from espana. Everbest na name nung shop but same old reliable guys. Small shop lang pero may wifi.

Not here to recommend an aircon repair shop but just wanted to share one where you shouldn't be going to. Had a very, very bad experience with Frigidzone, specifically the one at Kalayaan, Quezon City. Not sure about their other branches, but the Kalayaan one, surely has a messed up service. To give you an idea, had to come back a total of 5-6 times for back jobs ranging from mechanical issues due to poor reinstallion of parts to reduced ac coolnes in less than a month after having a new evaporator attached (main problem according to them). Ang sama diba?

Sirs, anyone here have their monterosport 2012 gls-v serviced by ceejay's in las pinas area? My montero is due for a/c servicing *40k. Never installed a cabin filter since i acquired it (big mistake). Recently found my aux fan is not running. Mechanic told me that compressor fan motor needs to be replaced. Ano po ba motor ng compressor fan? Some says its denso some says its panasonic daw. Can someone enlighten me up on this matter since medyo madugo ang a/c servicing ng montero. Nagulat lang kasi ako sa price.

Also concern ko lang sa 2012 honda jazz, malamig pa naman yung a/c pero may napapansin na akong ibang amoy pagbukas nag aircon lalo pag naka off yung A/C BUTTON. recently aquired lang yung jazz and i think never pa napa service yung a/c nung previous owner. Planning to bring it also to ceejays for check up. May cabin filter din ba ang jazz like the montero? And madali lang ba linisin ang a/c ng jazz. Some say baklas daw buong dashboard.

Negative na dito guys. After 1 mo. nawala na lamig. Post ako sa isang thread re saan ako nagpunta.

Tips on looking for a good repair shops - whether aircon, electrical & mechanical.

1. Ask around - which you are now doing.
2. Go to the shop and tell the problem/s, symptom/s, complaint/s. With these info, the repairer must know immediately the defect/s and how to repair them. If you see that they are applying the "trial & error" and/or "miss & hit" techniques, look for another repairer. Go back to tip no. 1.
