your high side (discharge) plays around 150-175 psi under philippine ambient temperatures. if you are using R134a, this pressure is normal and of course the compressor gets hot as the pressures rise so does the temperature. the suction side port of the compressor should be cool to the touch. at 90 psig on the discharge, possibilities are: low in charge(caused by a leak) or the compressor is worn out. have the system topped off first as a less expensive alternative to knowing if the compressor is going south

October 7th, 2010 11:36 PM #5thanks mga sirs pero kung sa freon ok pa baka nga wala ng compression kasi i went to 4 aircon shops all of them said compressor is busted since pressure goes up to 90 when rev.

natural lang na umakyat ang high side lalo na pag nag rev ibig sabihin compressor ay ok. bakit kaya nasabi ng 4 na shop na sira ang compressor mo? maingay ba, how about the low side pressure, normal ba pressure at ayaw lumamig ang system? yung noise sa dash is most probably the ac blower.
