High Temp with A/C on

Mga boss,

Ung auto namen, Mitsubishi Lancer GLS 2006 model. Napansin lang namen na kapag naka Aircon kami at lampas 100 ung takbo namen,lumalampas sa kalahati ung temperature reading nya. Kapag bumaba ng 100 ung takbo namen,bababa din ung temp.
Bago naman kami magbyahe,nagchecheck kami ng tubig at coolant, so far, ok naman sya at wala namang leak ung radiator.
Sabi sa casa, icheck daw nila ung sa aircon para madiagnose ng aus ung problema.

Help lang po mga boss.

check mo yun rad fan baka maina na ang takbo. next ay yung rad mo baka barado na pa overhaul mo.

Also check if the waterpump is still good. You can check this by opening the radiator cap (of course, do this when the engine isn't hot) and when you increase idle, the water in the radiator should circulate.

yung dati namin L300 na versa van ganyan din naging problema... palitin na yung radiator fan... tsaka nakatulong nung pinalinis radiator

Sir, if i may....the water "won't show some circulation" if thermostat is closed. the coolant may "bulge" due to slight pressure created by the water pump aside from the basic fact that liquid expands when heated.

for the TS,

overheating on high speed driving? it usually points to a collapsing lower hose. check your lower hose brader....it might be collapsing because the water pump revolves at a high speed creating vacuum in the engine as well as the hose. well, that is considering the coolant level is good, radiator is clean and free to breathe, water pump in pristine condition, fan is alive and kicking, blahblah blah

happened to me once and will never happen ever again.

Me lumalagitik kasi kapag nag more than 100kph na ako. Tas after nung lagitik,saka tataas ang temp.Lumalampas sa kalahati

try mo check rotation ng auxiliary fan mo. pero base sa salaysay mo, most probable culprit is your water pump.
here's what to do.
1. run the car at more than 100 kph as you have stated, then pag lumampas na ng kalahati, subukan mo patayin ang air con while maintaining speed. observe the temperature reading
btw, di ba naman bumabago ang lamig ng aircon?

anyway, noted then na kahit lumamapas ng kalahati at nanatili doon, it is still tolerable, hwag lang umabot sa red line
