Sir, if i may....the water "won't show some circulation" if thermostat is closed. the coolant may "bulge" due to slight pressure created by the water pump aside from the basic fact that liquid expands when heated.
for the TS,
overheating on high speed driving? it usually points to a collapsing lower hose. check your lower hose brader....it might be collapsing because the water pump revolves at a high speed creating vacuum in the engine as well as the hose. well, that is considering the coolant level is good, radiator is clean and free to breathe, water pump in pristine condition, fan is alive and kicking, blahblah blah
