Sign of a worn bearing but it should be fine as long as it spins freely and not move too much.

sooner of later, it will fail.
kung may budget naman, why not have it fixed as soon as you can? kesa sumakit pa ulo mo?

Bossing,

Most likely its a bearing or other mechanical compressor failure. Better have it repaired immediately as it might cause more damage to your compressor as well as other connected parts. Usually, the freon has to be removed as the compressor has two bearings located at both ends. Better have it estimated (after dismantling) so you may have an idea if its more feasible to repair or replace.

Pa repair mo kaagad bago umikot yun buong casing ng bearing sa casing ng aircon compressor. Hindi mo dapat nilagyan ng belt dressing yun belt. Hindi na dudulas ang belt. So ang tendency ay maputol ang belt or sirain ng stuckup bearing ang aircon compressor.

Ito magastos mo kung magpapalit ng bearing:
Freon ang labor charge ng aircon specialist 1,200
Bearing= 500.00
total cost of 1,700

Ito naman kung nasira na yun casing ng aircon compressor"
Freon ang labor charge ng aircon specialist 1,200
Aircon Compresor price depends on brand. Lets say 8,000.00
Total cost 9,200.00

Pili ka na lang alin dyan ang gusto mo. Kung ako sa iyo ay tangalin ko muna ang belt bago ma-disgrasya iyan aircon compressor.

Assuming that its the bearing only (defective), I would suggest that you replace the seals as well as it might leak sooner or later, this will save you more on labor, refrigerant oil and freon.
