I think the best air freshener is to clean the interior properly and apply nice smelling interior detailer sprays or even protectants such as Aerospace 303 and keep it nice and clean. Nothing beats the smell of clean car interiors.

On the other hand newer leathers on higher end cars actually emit a very fragrant smell that's part of it's characteristic and that also gives it very good ambiance inside the cabin.

I stopped using air fresheners two years ago...

I've had good experience with Meguiar's Interior Quik Detailer, smells good.

For protection, nothing beats Aerospace 303 since it has an SPF rating of 40! Parang sunscreen protection for your car's interior/rubber/vinyl components.

Not sure of the Aerospace 303 pero alam ko yung Meguiar's meron, mahal lang siguro. Aerospace 303 is around $12 for a spray bottle good enough to last a year where I bought mine in the US (at least for me it lasted a year). The Quik Detailer was a free giveaway when we attended a detailing class for Meguiar's headed by Mike Phillips in 2005 or 2006. I don't use a lot of interior spray, because I try to keep mine clean so there's no need to spray it often.

Armor All has been known to cause dashboard cracks and such, avoid it at all costs.
