dont change it to a metal top, kung magoverheat ka cylinder head agad ang masisira.

DENSO repairs the radiator tops, if di kaya, mag surplus ka nalang, or di padin, just get an evercool radiator.

the_veed, i just had my plastic radiartor top changed to "tanso" or copper. masama ba yun? i was told that some metal tops do not adhere to the body of the radiator pero yung nabili ko seems to be okay. P1,500 or P1,800 yata just for the top kasama na installation, of course. pinatanggal ko na rin yung thermostat. super baba na ng temp ngayon.

Have your thermostat put back in, it's there for a reason!

Watercooled engines are designed to run at around a certain temperature range for minimal wear and efficient operation. It's not supposed to have temps that are "super baba".

there's a good radiator repair guy in our area, tondo, he's very good in overhauling radiators even the one's with a plastic top... cost would be less than 1k.

or you may try dallas in tomas morato and have your radiator descaled.. i tried them out just recently, they did a fairly decent job in getting my rad cleaned.. but i think it would had been more cleaner if i just opted to have it overhauled...
