Just got back from ceejay's aircon. I'm from santa Cruz, Manila. Sir 9701 is right. Pulido at hindi shortcut ang gawa. Arriving there at 8:30AM to have my aircon system clean (my ride is a Revo VX240D). And I have them check on the back blower kasi maingay yun isang side. After opening the back aircon and checking the fan motor. Sabi ni Boss na pwede pa langisan. (saving me around 5k kasi sabi ng ibang a/c repair shop na kailangan na Palitan kahit hindi pa nila binagklas yun blower.

After cleaning the evaporator. May Nakita sila small leaks kasi natanggal yun dumi na matagal na Nakadikit sa evaporator.they solder the leaks.all in all dapat yun bill ko NASA 3k. 2800 for the cleaning and 200 for the leaks repair(solder). Kasi I told them tsikot member ako. May special discount. Final bill is 2800. I'm satisfied with their works and highly recommended......

Two thumbs up for ceejay's !!!

I had my car aircon serviced in Valenzuela. I went all the way there even if I am from QC. Banawe simply is not an option. Aircon technicians there are not experts and are going to experiment with your aircon system and do shortcuts to earn quick and make sure you come back often to fix the aircon again.

Anyway, I came across an ad over the Internet and I did visit PFE Aircon (Power Friends Enterprises) along Km. 15 MacArthur Highway in Malanday, Valenzuela. It was a long way but it was worth it. 14 years of functional air conditioning I'd say is maximized. The compressor is out of commission and needs to be replaced. PFE does not recommend using Sanden and putting a frame because the frame will eventually come loose over the years and may cause damage to the engine and/or compressor.

I eventually agreed to install the original compressor, Panasonic. There was also a hose underneath the aircon technician replaced. The compressor is 9.5k and the hose replaced is 550. General cleaning is 500. O-rings and other minor parts cost another 1,050. Total cost 11.6k. No leaks found. And the aircon is now working and really cold. The money spent is well-worth it.

They don't do anything else but aircon and specialize in it. By the way, the hose they replaced suddenly quieted the engine a lot.

I'll recommend this shop to anyone. Several customers came by. Other car aircon shops did not have as much customers. Best to be there by 9 am or earlier.

mga bros just an inquiry, i'm province based and wondering if the rate here is reasonable or what...recently i had an aircon general cleaning & check up...pull down all the parts (dual aircon as seen in my avatar) including the condenser to find the culprit on the absence of cold temp, even have to take down the whole front grille & bumper to extricate the condenser to have it check for leak, good thing no leak was found...only a clogged & stuck up expansion valve w/c has been replaced by Mang Mario 2 years ago (together w/ leaking evaporator) the technician said its not a standard procedure to replace it both...good thing also i kept the original exp. valve w/c made me save the day...the question is 3k enough for this kind of work or too much? i knew that rates in manila is somewhat cheap coz of the parts availability, just wanted to make comparison...TIA for sharing.

Sir sa location mo, ok na siya. On a side note, there's a good shop near Jemson's place also in case you will be in the area again. Cool-Tec ata ang name.

Aircon ko bigla hindi lumamig and nagvibrate siya pag naka on. Pinacheck ko last tue. Dito sa malapit matatag st. Sira daw compressor. Mahal ang brandnew they gave it at 12800. So surplus ang kinuha ko at 6100. Plus labor freon etc. total bill ko 7800. Then binili nila ung sirang compressor ko at 1500. The problem is nun ginamit ko ulit ung car na naka on a/c, mas grabe ung vibrate na parang hirap ung makina. Binalik ko ulit sakanila then they told me sobra kasi karga ng freon kya ganun. What if kung masira ulit?!

they give discount to Tsikot members. plus may additional 500 peso discount pa ako dahil 14th year anniversary nila nung May 1. CEEJAY shop is highly recommended.
How much was the cost for the evaporator and cleaning?

I second the comment of Glenn. The receptionist name is Jenny while the chief mechanic is Den. The name of the shop is E.D.S. (as in Ernie delos santos)The shop address is #13 Francisco St. San agustin (inside gloria v ito) tel no. 9307457.Naka punta na ako sa ibat ibag klaseng aircon shop and I must this is a good one (not high end nor low end, basta tama lang. For those who are satisfied with Mang Mario, you should try this, the owner , Manf Ernie ay ka contemporary yata ni Mang Mario.
Anyways guys thank you for the lead.I am one of satisfied customer. Cheers!

best aircon shop that I have tried is Mang Joey in Pasig... pulido gawa, sakto presyo not too high. mas mura pa rin si Mang Mario. workmanship superb. Had my Compressor replaced with surplus, Siya na ang nag provide ng parts... general overhaul including flushing of condenser and evaporator. to give you an idea of price I had my EK 96 compressor, drier, expansion valve replaced plus general cleaning and cost me 9600.
