recommended is once a year....
pero ako di ko nasusunod.... hehehehe. i usually have my aircon cleaned pag may kailangan lang ipagawa.... hehehehehe.

tama yan style mo, don't touch when it ain't broken. pag meron ng problema,
dun na isabay ang cleaning para isang discharge lang ng freon.

kung malamig at malakas ang hangin, wag mo na galawin. madami dami kalokohan sa pag gawa ng aircon, i suggest you limit your exposure to this kalokohan only when your aircon goes kaput.

for some reason, mga mechanics like overcharging guys with SUVs, hehehe.

all the post are true
*as long the cooling is in TOP peak , don't bring it for service
*there are airconshops charge high for SUV's and AUV's bec of the time for them to dismantle the glove box or dash boards and those double evaporator types on AUV's

standard procedure printed on the manual is 12 to 16 months on everyday use of the AC , for my experience , switch off the aircon if smoking while travelling and frequent vaccuming on those floor mats in front will extend it longer bec the evaporator box doesn't expose to dust and dirt .

Just have it cleaned when you notice na mahina na yung blower. Once a year is too much. Pwede pa once every two years..even three.

di naman tayo nag papalinis ng ac para luminis lang sya o mas lumamig ,preventive maintenance po ito para mapahaba ang buhay ng evaporator at gumanda performance ng ac.
