Anybody experience this on their A/C system

Lately, I have this problem with my A/C compressor.

Kapag naka on yung A/C at warm-up na yung makina tapos naka idle yung oto, yung compressor eh bigla na lang nag on/off ng tuloy-tuloy. Para bang clik, clak, clik, clak, clik clak na tuloy-tuloy yung compressor, this goes on for about 20 seconds and only on idle.

Pero kapag umaandar na yung oto, nawawala na. Pero pag cold-start tapos on ng A/C wala naman. Pag medyo malayo na yung natakbo ng oto saka lumalabas sudden on/off ng compressor kapag naka idle.

Saan po kaya ang problema?

Thermostat control diode. This could be your culprit, kaya nag on-off simultaneously ang compressor. It is located near your evaporator inside the vehicle. Siara na yang diode kaya nalilito sya kung on/off yung compressor mo.

Kidding aside, naranasan ko na kasi yan dati, pinikon ako ng aircon ko. :D Ginawa ko pinatay ko na lang and opened my windows while trucks and jeeps polluted my nostrils. Went to an airson specialist and checked the busted diode, mind you this is not a cheap part. They charge a fortune for this small black piece. :idea:

ako din mukhang may problem a/c ko after cleaning. paminsan minsan specially kapag tanghali ay tutunog ng ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the first time na i on the a/c pero mawawala siya kapag on off ko yung a/c for a few seconds. after that wala na dahil parang nakawarmup na siya. ang masama kapag balik ko sa nag-cleaning ay di na magpapakita ulit yung problema dahil nga nakawarm-up na. they suggested na na overcharged sa freon and that's what i'm thinking too so bawas ng unti. mga 1 month ay nawala yung symptom then suddenly ito na naman siya. the thing is hindi madiagnose maigi kasi kapag dating sa aircon shop ay normal na ang a/c ulit. ano kaya problema, i'm thinking na baka kulang or wala langis na nakarga. baka matulungan nyo ako. ty

Galing ba sa blower yung sound? Or yung singaw ng cold air from the evaporator? I could suspect that your blower need some bushing replacements or in other vehicles bearings.

Just a reminder though, summer is fast approaching you may want to have your freon refilled and have those evaporators washed. You don't want to drive your vehicle with an aircon that fills more hot air in it.

bossing ungas, hindi siya galing sa blower or sa mga bearings. hindi rin dahil sa belt ng a/c dahil okay pa yun. i can hear it kaming from the compressor as far as i know. sana mali ako na compressor... minsan lang talaga lalabas yung sound na yun. normal din ang idle ko at makina no vibration of whatsoever.

anyway, 8 years old na auto and orig pa yung a/c system except for the evaporator.

pacheck mo compressor mo zildjian... baka oil ng compressor... baka masave pa before masunog mga pistons at bearings ng compressor mo...

Yup, theveed is right. If the sound is not coming from your blower, it would have to be your compressor showing signs of fatigue. Nauubusan ng oil yung compressor susunod nun bearings ang bibigay dun.

Yung parang ahas? Baka kulang ka lang sa refridgerant. Isang taon nang ganyan ang Pajero ko, eh. Hindi ko na lang pinapansin. Once nagcirculate na ang refridgerant. You're fine. Pero check for leaks na din. Yung sa akin walang leak kaya pinauwi na lang ako ng technician.

bossing otep, wala naman din leak sa system at okay din sa refridgerant.

sir theveed and ungas, lalamig pa rin ba say kapag kulang sa oil. i'm thinking nga na oil pero normal naman kasi ang lamig. meron ba silang way para macheck kung kulang sa oil without wasting the new r134a?

I may pressume that oil could be added without discharging your refrigirants. Hindi ko na kasi maalala kung ano ginawa nun, :P

Iba naman ang linya ng oil sa compressors and yung line ng R134a. Sandali lang magpakarga ng oil sa compressors, 20 minutes would be enough. Para ka rin nag-change oil ng makina, remove the old oil then add new oils in.

Baka naman may marecommend kayong mga aircon shops.
Kailangan na din yatang palinis and check yung aircon namin.

i have a similar problem sa aircon ng tsikot ko, i have a toyota corolla xe 97, pag switch ko yung aircon only the blower in the dashboard ang aandar and it will take several minutes before mag on yung compresor and the whole system, pero minsan pag switch ko nag on naman immediately. Ano kaya problem ng aircon system ng kontse ko. Could pls anybody help me.

may guess is either it's an electrical issue or the aircon compressor clutch is not engaging right away, kaya hindi agad tumatakbo yung compressor.
