AirCon Question

Guys, tanong ko lang kasi nag-aalala lang ako. Yung aircon ko napa-ayos ko and Ok na siya. Malamig na siya compare nung una. But the problem is,
bakit po kaya walang tubig na-lumalabas kapag pinapatay ko na yung aircon ko? Kasi nakikita ko usually sa mga car na naka-park once na pinatay ang aircon tumutulo yung tubig sa akin wala. Sa loob naman ng car ko may mga patak-patak na tumutulo. Ini-isip ko lang baka kasi may bad effect iyon sa aircon ko eh magka-problema na naman ako.

Isa pa po. Ano po kaya problema, kasi yung lamig ng aircon ko kapag tumatama sa balat ko eh mahapdi dahil sa lamig. But after na mag-automatic siya parang ang bilis mawala ng lamig sa loob ng kotse. Ano po kaya reason kung bakit ganun kabilis mawala yung lamig sa loob ng kotse ko. Pakiramdam ko hindi nakukulong yung lamig ng aircon ko sa kotse.

Any other advice please. How about the reason bakit di nagtatagal yung lamig sa loob ng Kotse ko?

You're AC is not discharging waste water most probably because your evaporator is dirty. That is, assuming that you have not had an A/C person have a go at cleaning it. Yung hindi nagtatagal ang laming, baka compressor mo or thermostat. Best bet mo kid is to have your A/C checked ASAP. Good luck.

Actually ang aircon ko kakalinis lang. And bagong palit po yung Evaporator ko. Kuntento naman ako sa lamig na lumalabas sa aircon ko. Pero ang pinagtataka ko lang po ay parang di nagtatagal sa loob ng kotse yung lamig ng aircon. Kasi yung binubugamg lamig nung A/C ko OK naman. Nga lang after mag automatic a few sec lang parang mainit na ulit sa loob.

Maybe its because it's summer? Check also the weather seals of your vehicle if they are sealing properly.

Check all grommets and rubber plugs between engine and passenger compartment.

If no water is draining, it might just probably be the drain hose not connected properly or clogged. Just stand on your head in the passenger side footwell to rectify problem (reconnect hose or squeeze out whatever is causing blockage).

IF the a/c was not blowing as cold after the new evaporator, I would have suggested a check of the expansion valve.

from your description, it seems that your a/c compressor is only engaged for a brief moment. i think that since bago yung evaporator mo, mas mabilis mag- cut off yung operation ng a/c compressor since it can easily reach the coldness that would trigger the thermostat to disengage the compressor from operating. i also experienced that before, had our old model pajero's aircon serviced. as expected, the aircon really blew cold but the coldness inside the cabin would be very brief as the a/c compressor would cut-off faster than its usual rate; it was even worse when the car is moving at a high speed (therefore high rpm). i returned the car to the shop because of this, the remedy: they just adjusted the probe of the thermostat that was positioned near the opening of the blower assembly. medyo inilayo lang nila yung probe from the blower opening para di exposed directly yung probe from all the cold air coming from the blower/evaporator assembly. after that, since di masyado direct hit ng cold air yung probe, the operation of the a/c compressor was longer and thus cooler air inside the cabin stayed longer, but pag sobrang lamig na, automatic cut-off of the compressor would still take place. my guess is that thermostat din yung culprit ng aircon mo. however, i dunno kung applicable yung ginawa nung aircon shop sa pajero namin sa auto mo because medyo primitive at r-12 lang yung aircon nung '89 pajero namin e. baka mas sophisticated yung thermostat ng modern cars now; yung thermostat probe ng pajero namin dati ay parang alambre lang na nakatusok dun sa may opening nung blower kaya madali lang na-adjust.
